mtsparky
Running a few avatar chains. One of my pets was pounded, what can I do to get him back? I've obviously removed the borrower from my other chains and politely neomailed the new owner. Seems my pet is on a side. Could I page the new owner on the AC, hoping to get his main's attention? I dont want to do anything that endangers my account. Can I post his username and kindly request that he neomails me? Is that seen as harassment? Is it safer to post the name of my lost pet? Just not sure what is allowed in these circumstances. If that doesnt work, I suppose I could submit a ticket and ask TNT to return the pet to me. What happens with tickets and chain lends? Rune Valentine
Publicly calling them out on the NeoBoards sounds like it would likely get you into trouble, and probably not going to get you anywhere trying to reach out to the owner (who knows if they even use the NBs?). Generally I'd try to avoid the NeoBoards as monitors can be unreasonable and you don't want to catch them on a bad day! Best to wait for a reply from the person who adopted your pet. Though you actually have no claim on the pet anymore, as it was pounded and basically a "free for all", in TNT's eyes, so I don't believe they will do anything about it. If you want to send a ticket, go ahead and try but from experience, a lost pet will be a lost pet unless the person who adopted them is kind enough to return it. I'm sorry this happened to you but these things do happen to the best of us :( mtsparky
sonderlust
Aw, I'm sorry that happened, Sparky! I hope you get your pet back. mtsparky
Songbirdsara
Unfortunately there's not really a good way to prove that the pet wasn't purposefully abandoned and the person who currently has the pet technically did nothing wrong, so TNT couldn't really just TAKE the pet away. Chain lends are, honestly, an "at your own risk" situation :( I'm sorry this happened but the best you can hope for is that the current owner is willing to give you the pet. mtsparky
