After she became a Fire Pteri, everyone told her she'd be a natural fire faerie! But Hoyt is gentle and patient, not quick-tempered like most fire faeries. Sure, she's good at pestering others but that only seems to come out in battle. Hoyt eventually accepted being a fire pet, but will find her way without being locked into the typical fire faerie stereotype.
