For now, my posting by me will be limited, as i am on from my bed to tv with on screen keyboard. I was first introduced to neopets by my first gf. It was september 2001 and we were in 9th grade. I played a lot back then, but i think it was right before the whirlpool turned into Maraqua that i disappeared. I have a lot of catching up to do(if the yr 3,56k style lag will ever let me). I have level 30 Moltara Eyrie named Demented01. His name and username come from 14 yr old goth me. lol. My usual penname is r1v3th3ad, coined from the term for someone who is involved in the industrial music scene. I keep my pet at level 30 for now so i can max out training for less time at swashbuckling academy. Im close. I recently rediscovered my neopets love since i am laid up most of the time from a car accident a few yrs ago. One day i was bored with my android addiction(monstercrafter) since i had taken all three leaderboards by a mile{i get game addicted, #thestruggle) and stumbled back into this amazing world . Im playing catch up with new stuff and quests, but finding my footing. Currently stuck on water plant for Altadorian plot. i finally finihed my first map with lost shore and am learning the stock market as well as trading post. Also learned the hard way that random event quest is mostly not worth it if poorer lol. Small world, i just found out my cousin(a few years younger) plays too :).He was giving me fiscal tips since he has millions upon millions of neopoints. i cant wait tobe more active here when i can afford a wireless keyboard ...this lil bit took 30 mins lol. Good luck on the Altador plot, I really enjoyed that one :) The stock market is also a great way to invest your money! Once you really get into it it’s hard to stop I’m sorry to hear about your accident :( I also came back to neo after coming down with a medical problem where I had to do a lot of bed rest. Real life down time isn’t so bad when you have something to entertain yourself with. My apologies for the accidental rule violation by word count. I just realized I can have way easier access to the forum via my phone. I am going to thoroughly review all sections of forums' rules immediately following this post. Anymore, I know what areas to be careful/ common rules from being engaged in so many communities in the past and even modding myself...I guess it was a completely accidental cockiness/oversight. Now that I am on my android and can better/easier respond: Clarion is a beautiful town and campus. I almost went there but decided not to because it was too hilly/mountainous for me. Ive never had the pleasure of being to Williamsport but I do know its beautiful country out that way. Before my car accident, I was an independent contractor in the family painting business and was "maintenance for a major cellular chain...we serviced stores all of WV, Altoona to Ohio border side of PA, all of Ohio (85 stores), and a lil bit of Kentucky, right outside of Cincinnati. I'm gonna try the shortcut method I saw here with 8 tabs, to complete water plant part of altador plot, most of the rest I did with guides on TDN main page. I've been really enjoying it. I'm already doing good on the stock market and my cousin gave me some great strategies...I'm just going to continually reinvest. He said he has 2.2 million tied up in there on average...I'm up to 32000 with another 4000 gain already :). Neo has definitely made bed rest better. A person made an illegal u-turn on a bridge almost three years ago and I t-boned them at speed limit (40 mph)...thank goodness my old car was a tank (92 honda accord lx wagon) or I probably would be a lot worse...I had to stop working Jan 31 2012 bc of how unbearable my pain became. Disc issues, s.I.joint trouble, sciatica, muscle problems (degeneration?), arthritis in back, and who knows what else...I've been thru three diff rounds of physical therapy (including water therapy and traction) but even though I get stronger, pain gets no better. Yesterday I had what I think was my sixth epidural in a year plus ive had one in my s.I.joint. Oh and OR was Pittsburgh Sports Medicine, the ones who get Penguins on the ice and Steelers on the field, they passed me off to a pain clinic. I couldn't even do an office job at this point because periods of sitting in chairs even hurt a lot :( . It is what it is, I'm just grateful I'm alive and can still walk :) ...Depression already existed for me before this but this made it worse, paying it forward helps me so much by making others smile. I always keep extra water in my car for if I see homeless at an intersection. We're all human and gotta look put for one another. Fortunately I've had my family who has helped so much thru this, or I'd probably be on the street myself. And now I spend a large chunk of my day in bed on Neopets and it really brightens my spirits ♡. It was my bday on the 3rd and my gf said she is getting me a wireless keyboard, just hasnt been to the store yet...I cant wait! I'd have bought one myself but I'd rather eat and have gas in the car :) (pa taxes are high, just raised gas taxes $0.10 per gallon) ... Thank you all for the warm welcome and I am so much looking forward to being active here...caution, ive been known to respond in hundreds of threads/posts a day :) . Also to mods/admin staff: Thank you for what you do! I personally know how hard the job is and there is rarely appreciation for this pay less duty. I appreciate you and fully accept responsibility for any of my infringements of the rules as well as their consequences (but I hope to never violate again). Going over to all review ALL rules now.
