Pet Transfer Question

In the pound it says this:
"As our schedule is quite full, we can't allow you to send or receive more than one Neopet per month, though as your account matures, you earn additional Neopet transfers."

Is there some place that says how many transfers you get a month? How old does your account have to be to get additional transfers? It says the same thing on my new main as it does on my quite old side account, so I was just wondering how exactly that all works. Thanks for any help!

TDN has an account perks page where you plug in your accounts date and it will tell how many you have in general. I don't know of a specific place on Neopets that says you've sent X number of transfers so far other than viewing here: http://www.neopets.com/pound/transfer_status.phtml?delevent=yes
