Is this TCG box worth it?

I am a huge sucker for card collecting, I collect alot of TCG games like magic the gathering, yu gi oh, wow etc.

 

Today I saw this item

Got a good deal on it for under $100, I heared this series there is a 100mil petpet, 2 40mil plushies and bunch of other rare stuff... I am not sure if its guareenteed or you have to try your luck to get it.

 

I think this is the most popular but im not sure if other series are good too.

You have to try your luck. When you enter the code from each booster pack. You have 3 choices as Tor, the Lupe, travels in the underground prize area. Fending of the Dark Faerie Sisters, Saving Roberta from the Werelupe, or Whatever the last scene was.... lol To my knowledge you CAN'T go back and take a previous prize if you passed on it.

 

The 4 prize icon types you'll see are a Bag of NP, And Apple Core, A TCG card icon, or a paint brush. I've gotten MOSTLY junk from all 4. ALTHOUGH... I don't remember which packets I used and won these prizes but...I did get a Goo Blaster from one. Which is weaker than even a Ylanas Blaster these days. I also got a Ripped Orange Grundo Plushie. Sold it back for a nice chunk of change(NP). I would LOVE a Skarls Sword though. Just an awesome looking weapon. ;)

 

Mostly I've gotten junk. SOME decent TCGs from the TCG icon. The bag of NP, is usually some really small amount. The Apple Core, I think that's where I got my Goo Blaster from.... The Paint Brush is supposed to the best prize icon, but you might just get a book, or maybe something that was good way back in time, and is worthless now. It really is luck. Codestones, bottled faeries, etc.

 

Still, you NEVER know. So you might as well try some of them. If you decide they are not worth it, you can always sell them one or two sealed packs at a time, and make a slight profit by selling them that way. ;)

 

What I'd like to know is, are any of the old prizes, Such as Skarls Sword or Dull Stone Axe still possible from certain codes! LOL

I like to buy these off amazon a few packs at a time, I've had more success personally with the haunted woods booster pack than any other that I've tried. The last one I redeemed gave me a fruit tart that sold for 87k. My advice is dont accept neopoints unless you have no choice. It says it can award up to 1 million but I have never gotten anything more than approx 2800 and that's really disappointing. The paintbrush or apple core icons give the best prizes.
