Angeló Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 There used to be a RE where your Neopet can forget a book they read .. however when I made the checklist for V00D00 .. i was going thru the books and iam 100% certain that i've read several of them to him before , yet they're listed as unread .. could there be an explanation or is my memory failing ?? Rune Valentine Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Are you sure you got the right source code? I know sometimes the code doesn't load properly for me especially when it's a big list. Although it's certainly possible there's an RE that will do this, why not just try and buy a book (especially if it's cheap) to see if your pet really forgot? The closest I can figure -- at least in my case -- is that I either, a) read it to a different pet, or possibly b) read it to my pet but they thought it was boring. I know this last possibility used to happen because I would 'bulk read' books to my pet. I would get to clicking and not looking at the responses, so some of them were actually not read. You think this is obvious, since the book stays in your inventory, but I would have multiples to read to different pets and yea... well... you can see the neon-colored mistake there. *sigh* Needless to say, I'm much more organized about it now. Angeló Posted August 13, 2014 Author Share Posted August 13, 2014 i always read books in Chinese so i never have the "boring book" problem .. still it happened two or three times despite that and i changed the language again .. also sometimes the book is read but it doesn't disappear .. i re-sell those .. and V00D00 is on my side account so I never do dailies with him ...
