caleew
Ok, won't mention names, just user1 and user 2. So, user1 has been a huge part of our guild for quite some time now, doing trades for us and just being a good person. User 2 joined in december, but hasn't spoken until last month when I started doing some trades too. About that time, user 2 demanded that user 1 accepted their offers on trades, and to buy user 2's items because user 1 could afford it. And now, today, user 2 is telling user 1 that even though they won a trade, they haven't recieved the trade items, and demanded user 1 both gave back their items, the trade items (again) and something else to make up for it. Sorry if it seems confusing! Is that enough to ban someone from the guild, and to report them to TNT?
AJ11
My instincts tell me this is simply bullying and they should be banned On the ohter hand I think a very firm warning about the behaviour is called for. There are simple rules around Trading really, if someone is demanding or being too pushy or the other person feels under too much pressure they have a perfect right to refuse to continue trading with that person. I remember a while ago someone saying I was being greedy over my requested price on the trading post (mine was the lowest price on the TP) I felt insulted and annoyed but then I realised they were just acting like a spoiled brat, so I wrote back politely and pointed out the different things they could do to make the np as I did. I would suggest that this person is allowed to continue in the guild but have it clearly explained that those who do not want to trade with them have every right not to and if people are offended by their attitude in future they will not get a second warning I think they are very close to being banned however it seems fair to let them understand the rules and if they continue at least they know why they are thrown out..if this person is an adult however I would probably tell them why they are being thrown out and simply get rid of them... I mean who wants to keep members like that! hoppalottapottama
Breaziecat
I think you should report them, myself. They can't just try to force someone to trade.
Saxen
It sounds like harassment and possible scamming to me - I'd ban and report them in this situation. If you make allowances for them now, they will do this to other players.
Shelley
Okay if I fully understand the situation, user 2 was demanding items? That's most definitely reportable. If they directly told user 1 that they HAD to accept their offer or HAD to give them back their traded items that is certainly not allowed. Also since when do trding post transactions not function properly? sounds like user 2 is trying to scam user 1 for items, which is not acceptable. User 1 should report them..especially if they mails that are red flags
caleew
Thanks all :) Talked to the old guild head too, and the guy's been blocked from the guild, and the person he was trying to get items from is reporting him too. He's been for about 3 years, so knows the rules of neopets, and he is definitely an adult. Thanks :D
