"Any information on Austin's whereabouts?"

[Off Camera] "Not yet, we're still searching extensively for him."

"Well search harder! It's been 14 minutes since he last contacted us! 14 MINUTES! 840 ENTIRE SECONDS! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME THAT IS?"

"Not that much?"

"Don't get smart with me!"

"I'm sorry sir! We'll have more men join in on the search immediately."

"Well, get to it, you idiotic good-for-nothing-

[Rocky the cameraman coughs, and points to the red light signaling that they're live.]

*clears throat* Oh, we're live? Please excuse my outburst - it won't happen again. I'm just... a little worried about Austin. Yeah, that's it.

[Matt shuffles his papers around and adjusts his tie.]

Alright, I'm ready now. Let's begin. Hello and welcome, everybody! This is Matt reporting to you from the newsroom. The second day of competition has concluded, and boy was it exciting! We first take a look at the results from the Minitheus bracket, which was sweep central today!

Brooms do Sweeping We saw Altador and Meridell go head to head in today's match-up. The Suns weren't able to defend against the Knights' mighty onslaught, and were crushed in all four games.

The Minitheus Bracket also saw a match-up today between two former winners of the Cup. However, the difference in skill between these two teams were definitely profound in today's game. Virtupets was able to take a clean sweep over the Minions, with notably high scores in Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown.

Shenkuu Gnorbu The match between Faerieland and Shenkuu was an interesting one to watch! Both teams scored the exact same amount of points in all the events during the first day of competition. However, Shenkuu came out of the match as the victor, sweeping the Faeries.

Over in the Vaeolus Bracket, which was also close to having an entire bracket full of sweeps, Haunted Woods and Mystery Island clashed fiercely. Haunted Woods was able to pull off a clean sweep today, with a record breaking score of 14 in Make Some Noise. For members of the undead, those Zombies sure can cheer!

Kickass Baby Kiko The Kikos and the Chillers squared off against each other today, both teams hoping to make their mark on this year's Cup. The Kikos had more than just cuteness going for them as they managed to sweep the Chillers. Terror Mountain has yet to see any green so far in the competition. They'll have to step it up a notch in the days ahead if they ever want to get off the Cybunny slope.

For the last matchup of the Vaeolus Bracket, last year's winners, Tyrannia, went up against the Brightvale Wizards! However, sorcery was only enough for the Wizards to pull off a close win in Shootout Showdown. The rest of the events were left for the Fossils to take.

Sad Yellow Blum Last but definitely not least, we have the Alabriss bracket, which saw its fair share of one-sided dominance. Moltara, doing surprisingly well this year for an underdog team, managed to sweep Roo Island, an impressive feat for a team of their stature.

The competition between Krawk Island and Kreludor, the first of only two matches today that weren't completely one-sided, saw the Moons take Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. The Pirates quickly retaliated, but were only able to pull a draw in Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown.

Kau LD Goalie For the last matchup of the day, and the one with the most diversity in results, Lost Desert versus Maraqua! The drought the Mummies brought upon the Mermaids was far too great, as the Mummies ended up taking Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger. The Mermaids were able to take Shootout Showdown from the Mummies however, as they were too distracted unraveling the massive amounts of toilet paper all around their body! Both teams were extremely enthusiastic, shouting louder and louder until neither could scream no more, resulting in a draw in Make Some Noise.

Keep an eye out for Kiko Lake's match against Tyrannia today, and Moltara's versus Kreludor! All four of the teams have been doing well the past two days, so it'll be interesting to see how they fare against each other.

That's it for today's report! This is Matt from The Daily Neopets signing off! Now where did that intern go…
