So the space faerie (I think? I was refreshing a lot so it could have been an RE a while back..) gave me a

Neopets 14th Birthday Goodie Bag

 

Can anyone tell me if I actually have a chance at getting a petpet or if it is pretty rare? I am debating on saving, opening, or trading.

You have 'decent' (but not GREAT) odds of getting a Birthday Alabris, Birthday Kadoatie, Birthday Meepit, or Birthday Warf. Those are the petpets that are POSSIBLE to be found inside.

 

They seem to be selling pretty reliably at 500K on the Trading Post.

 

So, if you want an easy 500K...post it on TP.

If you want FAST nps post it on the TP with an asking price of 475-480K.

If you want the possibility of a neat/rare'ish petpet...open it!

 

Personally? I'd open it...I like to gamble.

The petpet lab ray can also zap your petpets birthday. I have a birthday meepit that I got from zapping at the petpet lab ray. So that's another option for you. Congrats on getting the goodie bag, too bad there wasn't a petpet inside for you. :(
