Some games not loading?

Some of the games haven't been loading properly for me. For example, Kass Basher & Usuki Frenzy 2 load about halfway, then the 'rate' drops and it won't load any longer. I know some games are still working for me as I can play Fashion Fever. I am using Chrome. Can anyone help?

There are some games that I've had issues loading. Those gamers in particular load perfectly fine for me.

Have they never worked for you or is it just now not working?
Have you tried using another browser?
Did you recently downgrade or change some options?
Do you have everything updated? Such as flash?

Just a few questions to help you go through finding what is not letting you load those games.

I believe there is something going on with Neopets in general today. There has been a terrible lag all morning and I've had stretches as long as 5 minutes that the site wouldn't even load the Red Pteri page.

These games weren't loading for me yesterday either, I thought it was just Neopets but it seems not.

 

I've recently reinstalled Chrome, but had some issues ever since - pages with lots of images tend not to load the images, instead making the image look 'glitchy'. The same thing happens in the Battledome, though I am still able to play.

 

I also recently updated flash, so that could also be the source of the problem. I will reinstall Chrome to see if that fixes anything.

You may also want to reinstall Flash. My friend had similar issues when she upgraded Flash; somehow the file had gotten corrupted, and reinstalling a fresh download fixed it.

I personally don't use chrome, so I'm not too familiar with the version numbers and updates, but if reinstalling it doesn't change anything, you could try to search based on the version you're installing and seeing if maybe it's a recent update to the browser that may be interfering with those things.

You could try downgrading flash to a previous version? Not familiar with flash either, so not sure if it's possible, but I assume it is.

 

You should try a different browser though to see if it's just chrome having issues.

Thanks for all the advice guys - reinstalled flash to no avail. :/ I will try to reinstall Chrome later, not in the mood right now.

Chrome has its own built-in flash, what you reinstalled didn't affect it at all :D The website has been glitchy today. I am using Chrome, however, I am using the beta version, so version 27.0.1453.47 beta-m and Kass Basher loaded fine. Honestly, I would simply wait a bit before re-installing Chrome, simply to see whether the website fixes itself. Other than that, if you are logged in into Chrome, re-installing is just two or three clicks and you don't lose any bookmarks/history/passwords or even the theme :)

I'm using FF and haven't had any issues on neopets today. So don't know if I'm just being lucky today or if maybe it's a chrome issue?

 

Instead of going through reinstalling chrome, which shouldn't take much time anyways, just attempt using a different browser.

I tried wheel of slime and it didn't load. Just a black image.
