What first next tier item to start with?

I finally have 13 mil plus to buy an upper level item. I usually buy offense but hubrid now shield is tempting. I have no bomb or freezer but have species 50-100% healer. I mostly battle 1P now bc my account got silenced over a year ago for something stupid on bd chat.

After checking your stats, having a shield with low defence boost won't do any good.

 

With 13 Mil, you can almost afford 2 Skarls Hasty Maces. So you can wait the 20th March to get the 3% discount at Hidden Tower to get them for 13.58 Mil. If you can't wait, you can buy a Reif (beware of the opponent with the Clawed Shield) or Ari Swords (those two anagram swords are currently the hardest to block) around 10.8 Mil

I agree. With a low defense boost, a shield doesn't do you much good. You do have a fairly balanced pet, though, so you could use a shield if you keep training defense.

 

Don't forget the importance of training. You're relatively close to the 200 strength boost, and that alone will increase your damage by 133%. (The jump from 125 to 200 is a big boost, going from a multiplier of 3 to 4.5.) It'll do more damage than if you were to upgrade to 2 Skarls Hasty Maces. Right now, you can do a maximum of 14 + 12 = 26 icons, assuming you use DSPBB and GAL and it does the max. Upgrading to 2 SHMs gives you on average 33 icons, which is an increase of only 127%, while upgrading your boost is an increase of 133%.

 

The same is true of defense. You can get a lot more mileage out of your weapons if you have higher strength and defense boosts.

 

Provided you're planning to keep training, SHM is a good option for an attack upgrade, especially if you can afford two of them. If not, I'd suggest Kelpbeards Trident, of which I'm a big fan. It does the same amount of damage as an anagram sword on average, but its market price is lower.

 

You could also consider getting a freezer/bomb combination. Magical Marbles of Mystery is a popular freezer, and costs 7.76m at the Hidden Tower on the discount day. H4000 Helmet is another good freezer that's usually cheaper, but does not seem to be with inflation. Ghostkerbomb is the best bomb you can get, and it's only 7.275m on discount day. At this point, you probably can't afford both, but you could get a freezer and just use your strong constants instead of a bomb. Freezing plays a big role in my strategy, and it works well, so I would recommend it. It's also pretty awesome when you can combine it with a faerie ability like Lens Flare or Warlocks Rage, so your opponent is frozen for two rounds.

I bought a mace and have 7.3 mil left to buy the second or a freezer, bomb...sold duck

 

I had planned to buy one of the anagram swords but mace seems like best buy I'm not going to have alot of funds besides training after these purchases.
