Seriously TNT?

I believe TNT is picking on me! My account has been frozen for "multiple account" abuse. I didn't even use side accounts other than for pet storage! I already wrote a ticket, explaining that in my househol we share the internet and that I'm not necessarily the one responsible.

 

I am so sick of them. I wish I could quit this stupid site, but I'm way too addicted..

 

Anyway, I created a new account - eternalbreath. At least I have free 150NC now... :)

Awh, I'm sorry. Are they trying to say that you are using multiple accounts to do the dailies, etc? Do you have family that plays as well? Sorry your account got frozen, but the free NC is a nice perk. When I first joined all I got was a random nc item. Boooo. It's nice to hear that they changed that.

You make a good point, but it does suck for the users who actually are telling the truth.

Theyve said in editorials that Neopets had been designed for bored college students and they know how to handle that type of situation. Im sure if you sent a ticket appealing it then you should have no problem getting your accounts back. Unless it just so happened you did your dailies every single day, logged off immediately after and the next person in your house did the same. That would look sketchy.

As Sid says. They understand that more than one person per IP address would play Neopets. They look at HOW the game is played on each account before freezing accounts for cheating. If some accounts are only used for dailies, that would be suspicious. If all the accounts are active in different ways (playing games- and getting different high scores and stuff, etc) TNT assumes that they are different people.

 

A number of people on TDN live in the same house as other Neo players, and they haven't been frozen.

 

Send in your ticket. If you weren't cheating, you should be unfrozen.

I wasn't cheating - believe it or not. I only log on to my side accounts to put pets back into Neolodge.

 

Anyway I don't believe I'll be playing Neopets anymore. I don't have any will to go through all the newbie stuff again. On my old account, I had avatars that are retired, a strong battledome pet.. it would take months, to rebuild that and years to make a pet like IbisMay was.

 

Anyway I'll still be checking TDN, to check on the news :) You guys are really a great help and there are amazing people here. Also thanks to the ALP, for all the lends!

I get why you're feeling frustrated and deflated, but I think you should at least try to appeal to them. Especially because you didn't cheat. It would be such a shame to lose an account over something you didn't do.

I had sent a ticket. I will be so happy if it gets unfrozen, but I don't put my hopes in it.

I'm starting to think that if multiple people in a household are going to play Neo, it's smartest to just use a proxy and keep quiet.

I did not know they cracked down on things like this so harshly. I am glad I do not use side accounts, except for the occasional faerie quest.
