Emily
Hi guys! This month, the national organization Youth Adult Cancer Canada is running an event called "Shave for the Brave." The participants, young adults from across the country, are raising money to support social programs in Canada for people and their families who have been diagnosed with cancer. On February 28th, in celebration and solidarity, all fundraising participants will be shaving their heads and donating all qualifying hair to the production of wigs and hair pieces for those who have lost their own due to cancer treatment. I strongly encourage anyone who can spare a few dollars to donate to a great cause. Every penny helps. A good friend of mine is participating in the program this year and her donation page can be found here. For more information about the program and how to get involved, check out http://www.shaveforthebrave.ca.
