What do your pet's names mean?

Hmm.. this is an interesting thread. I always like to discuss and share with others about my pets unique names. :)

Dyero - My 1st pet on my main account, I have no idea where I came up with his name but it was most certainly different. I thought it looked cool but it needed a pronunciation as well so I decided to go with Die-arrow.

Sioteru - Got the name from a friend of mine's OC fursona character of the same name. She's shortened it to Sio though. This pet shows our friendship.

Oable - His name was kind of a last minute thing, I was searching for an un-taken one and randomly generated it on a site. I wish that "Noble" wouldn't have been taken but I'll settle for Oable. The next best thing. xD

Empala (Lab rat) - Adopted him from the pound and his name appears to be the misspelled name of the animal or car called the Impala.

1st Side:

Pawloin- Was going to name him after the Pokemon Purrloin at first but then decided that since he's a Gelert and not a Aisha, that I'd replace the "purr" with a "paw".

Suxa - My one and only 4L named pet. She was obtained in a transfer and at first I wasn't too fond of her name. It looks like the "sux" part says sucks. But I pronounce it Sue-kah. I'm not too sure what her name means..

Zyerael - Another one of my transfer pets. Was given to me by a very kind neopian due to my random obsession with pineapples. His name is pronounced Z-eye-real. I don't know the meaning behind his name.

Occ (lab rat) - My most recently adopted lab rat and the 1st ever 3L named pet I've had in my possession. Sadly though, I will be finding him a new home once I'm satisfied with his new look. Not sure of what his name means.

2nd Side:

Cerleve - My 3rd transferred pet and the 1st pet on my 2nd side account. Her name is pronounced Sir-leave. Not sure what her name means.

Gleaf - Name was based on the color she is and having to do with leaves. Her name contains her younger brother Gafle's name with in.

Gafle - Gleaf's younger brother and also his name contains her name within it.

Nojetter - My 4th pet transfer from the well-known Lost and Pound. Not sure what his name means since I didn't name him.

I generally also just go for names that I think look pretty. This was definitely the case for Ayalah, Dinrier and Chelinde.

I used to be an enormous fantasy geek, so Devonet is a minor character from Jack Vance's Lyonesse. She is arrogant, devious and extremely pretty, so I thought the name quite suitable for a Chocolate Usul. Rhaegen is a slight variation of Rheagar from George Martin's Game of Thrones / Song of Ice and Fire series, because Shoyrus are, of course, are dragons.

More embarrassing, I named Quinni after the Glee character.

Ryotsaki I adopted and I have no idea what the name might mean!

Rose_1822 was because I was absolutely obsessed with the name Rose when I was younger and my Neopets username is She_devi1833, so I just changed the last 2 numbers. Darrk_Falcon was adopted, so I didn't name him. And Ishta13 is because Ishta means "beloved" and it's a "pet name" I have for my bf, and 13 is my favorite number.

On my other account, DeathPandaOfLove is what I call my friend Amanda, so haha, I named my ixi after her. Emerald1888 because green (especially the gem tone of emerald) is my favorite color. i_luv_snickers was my first pet ever which my friend named for me by asking my favorite candy bar. And then ShadowTrillon was adopted so once again, didn't name.

Soo...not very exciting over all, hahaha. I also just gave away my orange grundo Denbra, and I named her that because it sounded spacey and I didn't have to add numbers to it... :D
