I read on NeoAvatars that if you go to the Swashbuckling Academy on neopets birthday then a course is free. But when I go it appears you still need to pay. Am I missing something? Do they not do this anymore? Does it appear you need to pay but it's actually free? Any help would greatly appreciated :)

 

Oh and speaking of the Swashbuckling Academy what course do I take to increase my pet's max hitpoints? Thanks again in advance!

Unless something has changed while I was on one of my hiatuses, you get free training on your Neopet's SPECIES day. So if your pet is a Pteri, and it's Pteri Day, then that pet gets free training. I don't think that all pets get free training on Neopets' Birthday though. :(

 

You train your Endurance to increase the hit points. :)

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't see that point in the news! I would send in a ticket, and mention that it's not working yet. :)

We are supposed to get free training on Neopets' birthday. They even mention it in the news, so it must be an error that it hasn't been activated

I know, I was so confused when I went to start a course and was prompted to pay a dubloon. I've seen this all over the neoboards too, so I think TNT will be swamped with tickets about this today. Hopefully, they'll make it up by making tomorrow free training or something...

Yes, thank you for the heads up. I didn't get a response from the ticket I submitted earlier today but then again I am not expecting one considering they have probably received millions. At least.
