ENFP

Oooh, I got ENFP! I was pretty much 50-50 on everything except I'm 100% emotional. I guess it could be true :D

I read your whatsit and if it's anything like you you sound lovely ^^

So happy people are doing this, I was so worried the topic was going to disappear into the depths of TDN with no replies XD

I haven't done these tests in forever, so it's interesting to see how (it tells me) I've changed. IIRC the last time I did the test I was INFJ and now INTJ.

INTJ

Introvert(56%) iNtuitive(50%) iNtuitive Thinking(12%) Judging(1%)

  • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
  • You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
  • You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
  • You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (1%)

I have apparently become less introvert. Hard to believe, but I suppose I rest more in myself than I used to. But that doesn't say a lot :P

I also did the enneagram test, and I am a type 5w6, with 12 points in 5 and 10 in 6. So that is The Loyalist vs The Investigator.

Haha seems like TDN is full of INFJs. :P

INFJ

Introvert(22%) iNtuitive(50%) iNtuitive Feeling(12%) Judging(44%)

  • You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (22%)
  • You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
  • You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
  • You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

Not sure if I enjoyed the test too much, though -- I felt like some of the questions were confusing double negatives and I also dislike being forced into a yes/no answer. D: If it was on a sliding scale I would have answered "sometimes" on almost all of them because I like balance; e.g. I enjoy being social but I also like being alone, it just depends haha.

According to this, I am an ESFJ. I have a feeling that if I had taken this test a couple of years ago, I'd get something that starts with an I rather than an E.

ESFJ

Extravert(1%) Sensing(12%) Feeling(12%) Judging(22%)

  • You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
  • You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)
  • You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
  • You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (22%)

I think tests likes this one are really interesting and if there is such a thing as personality test addiction, I've got it *cough* :P

I got ISFJ:

Introvert(89%) Sensing(38%) Feeling(12%) Judging(56%)

(the last part doesn't sound so good, I know, although I'm not really sure what "Judging over Perceiving" entitles...)

You feel involved when watching TV soaps < probably one of my favorite questions, haha c;

Introversion is pretty much the whole reason I'm here, actually.

Also, TDN is pretty much the only place I can talk about Neo without getting openly mocked.

^ and *big hug* for you, hon! You should never be mocked for liking cute pixels!

Here's a website that explains it for you: http://www.myersbrig...-perceiving.asp

From the site:

Do you prefer a more structured and decided lifestyle (Judging) or a more flexible and adaptable lifestyle (Perceiving)?

Also:

Do not confuse Judging with judgmental, in its negative sense about people and events. They are not related.

I think I gave the wrong answer to that one, because I realized as I clicked "next" that they probably mean all tv shows. But I thought "Soaps? No, I hate those, so I don't feel involved in any way". I do feel involved in shows I deem good. Probably more than what's healthy ;D

When I think about soaps, I think of stuff like The Bold and the Beautiful and Eastenders, which I don't respond to.

I am an ISTJ, with a moderate preference for introversion over extroversion and judging over perceiving, as well as a slight preference for sensing over intuition and thinking over feeling.

I am a type 5w6

I get what people are saying about it forcing you into an answer, though It says on the page of the test

When responding to the statements, of the two responses please choose the one you agree with most. If you are not sure how to answer, make your choice based on your most typical response or feeling in the given situation. To get a reliable result, please respond to all questions.

So I just went with what I agreed with most :P

Oh man I seriously have that as well XD baha

I've always been INTJ (with J being especially strong - which totally makes sense, I hate indecision and the unknown, haha), but I think I'm becoming more extroverted as I age. After a hard day I really want to talk it out with someone, and I feel weird leaving work if I haven't really had a conversation with anyone all day, whereas when I was in high school nothing re-energized me more than a long nap and a good hour of quiet reading/internetting.

Edit: Hmm, still ~officially~ introverted, but I used to score 70%+ on these scales. I guess it's true that where you get and direct your emotional energy can change over time!

INTJ

Introvert(11%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(12%) Judging(89%)

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (11%)

You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)

You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)

You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (89%)

I wish I still remembered what exactly the middle letters were in reference to; I took a class on this test once but all I remember really clearly is that E/I = where you get your energy (from other people or from solitude), and J/P = how comfortable you are with uncertainty (J = extremely uncomfortable, needs to plan things out and needs to know exactly where they stand in all of their relationships). I think N/S was whether one bases decisions on on-paper facts/history or on personal experience, but I'm not sure.

I do know the outer letters are how you live your life and the inner ones are how you relate to others in personal relationships.

Edit again: N/S is whether you rely on text/explicit facts (S) or subtext/implication and hidden meaning (N), and T/F I think is whether you are more empathetic (F) or whether you naturally try to "look at the facts"/apply some kind of black and white morality to situations (T). Again, these are the letters that relate to how you deal with relationships, while the outer letters are about how you operate in the world overall.
