Technical issues with Neopets that made you upset

I recently obtained the gold Roodoku trophy I was aiming for last week (my score was 1243 at the time, which landed me at spot #3). Recently, someone had gotten a higher score than me, so I would normally have been in the silver category. However, my score was completely removed from the high scores. I contacted TNT, and they've told me that all of my scores for September no longer exist! While they are looking into this, I've been told they won't add my score back.

 

So I'm curious if any technical bug like this ever happened to anyone, or a different situation with technical issues that screw you over? I'm a bit upset over this, but at least I had gotten the trophy. I'll miss the free NP though. :P

Aw that's too bad :( Nothing like that has happened to me (although literally once per day they tell me my score on NC Race must be reviewed before a trophy/NP can be awarded. There's not a trophy for that game and my scores aren't that high). But my poor sister had an awful one on April Fools Day this year. When she went to zap her lab pet it changed a different pet into custard (which was the joke) but the next day when she was changed back, all of the pet's pb clothes were gone. Not on the pet, not in the closet, nothing. We tried everything we could think of to get them back but it didn't work, and desert pets just aren't the same without their clothing. She submitted a ticket but TNT said they couldn't replicate the issue so there was nothing they could do. So her poor little pet has to stay naked since the desert pb was a Christmas present from me years ago and neither of us can afford to paint her again D:

I can't say I've ever had any thing go seriously wrong and been upset by it. A couple of times I've gotten a pretty good score, and it didn't send properly-- no trophy or avatar high, thankfully- I'm so terrible at games, lol--, just decent NP amounts that I didn't recieve. Nothing too terrible!

I once played Korbats lab and got a score of 9241.

Should've gotten Gold and an avvie, right?

Nope; it had an error sending in the score.

I spent about almost 2 hours playing that game just for it to say I did nothing.

I don't recall anything huge, but the neopets servers could use some TLC. I want to play gormball every day, but it's just so frustrating to play with the slow loading pages - and sometimes they don't load at all. Neggsweeper and other html games don't suffer as badly as gormball. So I don't know what the problem is.

I just had a thought... there are some people that have extra clothes in their closets (thanks to the lab ray, etc). You could try contacting someone that has the clothes for the pet your sister has.

Clothes go with the pet when they're transferred, so if you felt safe enough, you could transfer the pet to the other user, and they would transfer it back-- and when your sister got her pet back, it wouldn't be naked any longer. :)

Whaaa?? That's just.. no sense :S I'm sorry that happened! D: Silly TNT. I hope you can make the trophy next month.

 

I think probably my score being checked for Double or Nothing and not making the trophies is probably the most upsetting one I've had. I managed to get it later on but c'mon, it's a click game! Why was my score checked? XD

I would ask on the customisation boards, I think. I know there's a petpage around somewhere that lists all the PB clothing that people are willing to get rid of, but I can't find it at the moment. :(

My pet won the Pet Spotlight but never got a trophy :( I know that's a very small thing but it did upset me, ha!

 

How long ago was this?? That's not right at all! :(

 

Answer for everything but... maybe send in a ticket? XP You deserve that trophy!

I only had a few glitches that caused me slight inconveniences, like I wasn't able to send score after playing Eliv Thade for an hour to get the avatar and being locked out of Habi. I guess I should consider myself lucky for not having the send score glitches for harder games, not getting trophies or losing rare items because of silly glitches. Those are terrible :ohno:

That has got to be my biggest frustration too. It happens so frequently to me, and to have to play the game over again to make the 1000np that I should have got the first time is just so annoying.

And I don't think tickets are working ATM - maybe it's just me but I constantly have problems with the ticketing page? It often just redirects me to the homepage. Anyway, I worked so hard on the spotlight, I hope it's just a glitch that works out!! :(

I've had some scores not being sent properly a few times. No scores that were worthy of a trophy or a higher score (yet!), but it's quite frustrating when you don't have the time to play that much.

I've also been getting this problem ever since I sent my ticket. I've read that changing the language might work, but I haven't tried. If you just want to reply to it, you can just do it through your email. Good luck with getting your trophy on your page, you earned it! I would hate to wait if that happened to me.

I sent a score nearly two weeks ago that I spent two hours on for a gold trophy, but it hasn't been reviewed yet :( The scores for the game haven't been updated for ages either, so I hope that when it's processed it'll still be enough at least for some kind of trophy :rolleyes_anim:

Just a heads up to anyone having score sending problems at night, game scores reset at 12:40am NST. So if you start playing a game, say, at 12:35, then try to send the score at 12:42. you're going to get an error. Any game played "over" 12:40am NST will result in an error, as the system "resets" (for lack of a better word) at this time every day. If you're going to start a game around this time, it's better to wait until after 12:40 to start.

 

Though this of course doesn't explain the errors other times of the day. But it's a good way to avoid getting a sure error when sending a score.
