My complaint was about the slow, sketchy movement of the P3's, making it hard to catch them and put where you want; having to assign-refresh, assign-refresh, like 5 or 6 times to get your P3's to stay at the task assigned them (harvesting, nesting, resting in a house); and trying to paint your P3 and it taking the ink drop but not painting the P3.. This is what they had to say..

A solution for your issue has been suggested.

Thank you for writing in and sharing your experiences with our Habitarium game. We've categorized your ticket based on these issues and will do our best to prioritize them against other site bugs.

Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly when a non-blocking Habitarium bug will be fixed. The issue you reported is not something that we are able to manually solve for you. In the meantime, I'd like to give you some general Habitarium troubleshooting tips!

1. Remember that Habitarium (like all Neopets games) is meant to be played with you present at the computer! Just like you can't leave something heavy on your F5 key to refresh the site you should not leave your Habitarium on while you are away from your computer or sleeping! This is not only not in the spirit of the game but can also cause problems when your game becomes over loaded from neglect!

2. If you have an excessive amount of eggs in your backpack (more than your maximum P3 population) we recommend cutting back or deleting the extra eggs. Having too many items (which includes buildings, eggs and decorations) can contribute to game lag as well as preventing the game or backpack from loading at all if it becomes too overloaded.

3. If all else fails it may help to do a hard refresh ("shift" + refresh) on your page or try loading the game in a different browser.

If none of the above suggestions help, never fear! Since your ticket has been all handy-dandy categorized we are able to distribute and prioritize the issue you have reported. Unfortunately we will not be able to award any Neopoints or non-NC items that may have been lost as a result of this issue.

Issues that impact the whole site will be fixed for everyone at the same time so you don't need to worry about being left out :)

So basically: We know that Habi is really, really buggy, but we have better things to do. :P

I'm not complaining or anything, I imagine that in order to fix the game, they would have to pull it down completely.

I never realised that an 'excessive' number of eggs was more than 46. o_O I suppose I should start deleting the other 10 pages of eggs I have. XD

Though Habi is always at least a little laggy, there's a couple things you can do to make it less so.

1) Along with most others, I have found that the newest version of Flash (anything 11+) made my flash components (especially Habi) extremely laggy. I downgraded to an older version of Flash (anything released before July 2012), and it improved drastically. You have to deal with the occasional Flash crashes that happen with running an outdated version, but to me, a crash once in awhile is better than constant laggy content.

2) Once you're in the higher levels of habi and have more P3s running around, the extra movement seems to contribute to lag. To fix this, you can try blocking off your storages or resources if you haven't already.

3) Like TNT mentioned, try cleaning out your bag. I thought mine was ok, but went into the decoration/ supplies section and totally forgot about all the random stuff I had gotten while levelling. You might have more in there than you think :P

But ya, I agree with Rebecca in that, in order to fix it, TNT will probably have to take Habi down completely for at least a couple days. I'm assuming the bugs will get fixed whenever TNT decides to release new levels, or decides to start using an alternate to Flash on the site (which would be awesome).

I've found the best way to make Habi run better for me is to stop using firefox and use chrome instead. Even if I downgrade flash, it still runs horribly. (It probably doesn't help that my computer is three years old, was underpowered when it was bought and, to top it all off, has a broken fan...)

I see that I'm not the only one to find that I was hoarding too many eggs. I wonder how many buildings is "too many." Right now I have 4.5 pages of hospitals and storages.

Hrm, I'm definitely an egg hoarder as well. I'm kind of glad they're not inclined to fix the bugs, it's been a definite spike in my NP income since I made level 50! I guess I will cut down on my eggs, I really don't need probably as many as I hoard anyway. That's a project I can do today and it will generate some income also, since I have about 9 pages of them. I do hatch eggs pretty regularly - I've been thinking about going from 9 to 12 nests anyway.

I'm really dreading to clean my habitarium bag. I need to try in a different browser because it takes on average 5 attempts on each item I want to delete in Safari. And it's annoying. What I mean is that I would go and delete 2-5 pages of items or eggs and refresh the tab, and they would still be in the bag. Uggh. I don't mind the lag though. :P
