Typing Terror help please!

I can't get 1400-1500 points after finished level 3 like most guides suggest. My accuracy is always 100% and I meet the suggested point values for 1 and 2, just not level 3. I also let my screen fill up and aim for the machines with the higher point values. Any advice?

Am I just not lucky or what? I never get enough red or broken robots for the avatar, and I wait until the yellow ones are close by.

I'm still trying for this avatar and honestly it's just luck if you're a pretty good typer. You just have to hope you get more of those red and purple guys. Good luck!
