Pet Names/Nicknaming!

I'm sure most of you guys know about the difficulties of naming a pet. Most names are already taken, and since mine were created when I was younger they don't have the coolest of names...so I've been meaning to decide on nicknames for my neopets for quite a while!

What are your neopets names, and do you have nicknames for them? Or did you manage to get a nice name in the first place? :D

 

 

Also, could I please have suggestions for nicknames for my pets ;u;??? (for the ones in bold)

 

On my main account I have my main two pets, The_Roasted_Chao and Fruit_Salad_Surprise; and then county_fried_steak who I adopted from the pound. At first my account had a food-name theme but now I've sort of lost interest in that.

I've also adopted a Lab Rat pet recently of the name Prince_Tex which I think is nice enough and that I'd shorten to Tex :)

 

On one of my sides I have Mr_Leroy, chompers___1997, pringles629, and amethyst_february. None of which I named myself but I like them still. I'm thinking of calling amethyst_february Amy, perhaps. And the rest would just have their current names sans the numbers. I have a few other pets too but I think I will leave it at that xD;

Country fried steak just makes me hungry. :k

How about Frieda? Plays off of fried.

 

The side account seems easy enough. I like Amy for amethyst.

Maybe Sal for fruit salad surprise?

I think Frieda sounds nice as well for county friend steak.

I'm not very creative but I would go with the classic "Chao," "Froo," and "Fried."

 

And of course "Leroy," "Chompers," "Pringle" and "Amethyst"

Everyone's suggestions sound great. I think Ro-Ro would be a cute nickname for The_Roasted_Chao. :3

 

Since the names I originally wanted for my pets where taken I just added x_ and _x either side of their names, and luckily those were available, so now they're called x_Grassflower_x, x_Petalfrost_x, x_Tigerslash_x and x_Snowstep_x - though it kinda looks really silly now. xD I just call them by their names, minus the awkward x_ / _x part.

I made my main account when I was 11 and putting "_5678" after my pets' names seemed a good thing to do at the time. But "Rex_5678" was already taken so I made him "TRex_5678" and the T is silent xD

 

Needless to say I'm hopeless at nicknames. I would just call them Chao, Fruit and Steak. But my advice is probably bad :laughingsmiley:

Oh I like all of these suggestions, xD I think I will use Sir Fruit (but I like Froo too so maybe that can be a more colloquial one) for Fruit_Salad_Surprise since sur is kinda.. conjunction-y? :P

I'm still indecisive about a name for The_Roasted_Chao, I like all the suggestions!! RoaCh made me laugh xD

how bout simply Roast for The_Roasted_Chao? If you say it enough times you'll sound like a madman it can be a good name!
