Uni - Beauty ?

I'm running through the easy stuff on the avatars list for my new main, and for some reason Nyalit won't let me groom her for the Uni - Beauty avvie. Anyone else had this problem? Do I just need to keep refreshing? It's been so long since I did that one, I can't remember. TIA!

Try changing the language- that should work. I don't remember if grooming items are like food and books where your pet has aversions to specific word lengths.

Hmm, I had forgotten about that - it didn't work, I switched to french and no luck. That was a good idea though! Thank you!

I took a look and I found a thread from a while ago where the person had the same problem.

Maybe try some other languages as well? I usually have luck with Chinese or Japanese.

im wondering if the language thing doesn't work anymore. One of my pets wouldn't read a book so i changed the language to every single other one and no luck. maybe neopets changed it.

That's weird- it still works for me! I had a book earlier in the week, and Korean worked just fine.

That sucks! :( Maybe adopt a Usul or Uni? Apparently those pets like being groomed more than others, so maybe that'll make it easier?

Okay I got up this morning and tried grooming with one of the five items in my inventory - and it worked! I guess I just had to give it a little time. So if anyone else has this problem, try waiting a little while! Thanks everyone for trying to lend me a hand. I really appreciate it!
