CSS Templates?

I hope I dont cross boundaries here:

As a web developer/Designer I started out on neopets when I was 12 years old. I started taking layouts that were already made, and mixing them all together. Just picking any one at random, and using that as a structure, taking all the big parts away from it.

Generally, It's hard to actually trace where a design came from (Unless they have it encoded in an image or in a certain comment left in the Code. This is where it can get messy for you if you do not know enough about what you are doing.)

Your best bet will be to get random bits and pieces offline. Do some searching. Use Google.com and try to do research on the coding a little bit. Even add "template" to your search so you can get better results.

That's all I can say to help, it's not as easy as everyone makes it out to be. It can be tricky to get something or help from someone without getting in trouble from it.

Yeah, that was my initial idea, but I know most people get angry when taking/copying codes. That was what I had done a few years ago when I was working with HTML. This is my first time attempting CSS, but hopefully I'll be able to get a somewhat decent outcome with some searching around. Thanks for the help. :)

Ah, thank you! I'll take a look at that and give it another go today. ^_^

Izzy's tutorial is absolutely wonderful. I started out using her tutorial to build the foundation for my lookup and then went from there. Her tutorial is really easy and simple and only involves a lot of copy and pasting and just adjusting certain values. Following her tutorial will give you a good foundation for a userlookup. If you want to change certain things then you can google or ask around for specific codes.

I'm glad to hear that! I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, seeing as my Photoshop I'd use for my images is on my actual laptop which I no longer have access to at the moment. But once things get sorted I'm going to give her tutorial a go.
