Zooba
I'm on a macbook pro, latest version of google chrome. For the past couple of days neopets pages haven't been working properly. The pages load, but I can't scroll up/down or click on anything, then chrome says it has to "kill pages". Its only neo pages for some reason, because I usually have a couple of youtube pages open simultaneously and those work fine. The "frozen" neo tabs can be closed and I can drag the tabs around, but I can't touch the actual page and trying to refresh makes the tab completely unresponsive. I've tried restarting chrome, I've tried restarting my computer, I've made sure I'm on the latest version, but nothing helps :( I really don't want to have to switch browsers because chrome is the fastest. Any advice?
Rebecca~
Hmm, that's strange. I'm running Chrome (though possibly not the most updated version) and I haven't had any problems like that. :/ Have you tried playing Neo without the Youtube pages open? I know a lot of Neopets stuff is really resource heavy, so maybe with the additional burden of the videos it tries to shut it down? I don't know. :/
Zooba
I almost always have youtube open, but friday was the first time this happened, so I don't think it's that. Either way, when I restarted chrome I only opened the neo pages and they were still not functioning properly. I'm talking about my dailies, not like habitarium or anything really heavy, just like tombola and co.
Rebecca~
Oh wow, that must be super frustrating. It doesn't happen on any other sites at all? I tried googling the problem, but I couldn't find anything else that matched exactly. :/ I would clear the cache and cookies and stuff, delete the Chrome program, restart your computer, then redownload it. Hopefully it was just a bug in the program you downloaded, and it'll be fixed.

Ashbash
Huh that is strange. I'm on a macbook pro as well and using google chrome. I'm pretty sure it's the most updated version as I just got a month or so ago. I haven't any problems like that at all though.
Zooba
I'm pretty sure it's because of the new version of chrome, I just updated it a week or two ago. Thanks for the input everyone, I'm just sticking to one neo tab at a time so that I don't pull my hair out in frustration. Hoping they fix whatever is wrong in the next chrome update :(
