NeoCash: The great Responsibility

I just got my first NC for my birthday ( Thanks if you're reading this! You know who you are!) and now I am having the hardest time spending it. I go over and over the same item, trying it on all my pets and then ultimately decide that I can wait for something better. That I don't want to "waste" the NC even though I like the item. lol

 

Does anyone else do this?!

I do it with things that are limited edition. With things that are in there all the time (backgrounds) or seasonally, I'm more likely to not buy it if I'm not sure because I know it'll be there later. With things that are only in for a short time, I'm more likely to hem and haw because if I decide later that I want it, it's going to cost more to trade with someone.

I had 100 NC from the Monkeyquest and wanted to buy a Winged Capsule .. I kept saying no no no ... until they did the one-day discount on the weekend i closed my eyes and bought a discounted capsule 2 minutes before midnight NST .. got 3 items which aren't GREAT but I can use ... hehe ..

I think I may get one more thing from the Elite Shop and then put myself on a spending freeze for a while. That will make just two things on my first day ever having NeoCash. I need to make it last in case they come out with something super cool. lol

Lol the first and only time I got NC last month, I blew most of it on Blumaroll -_-

I always have the same issues...I usually go at least a few months before spending my NC, but I usually end up buying a capsule so I leave my luck up to it rather than having to pick an item lol.

But, I do that with real money too so. . .

I'm also now realizing that once you have NC you don't have to worry about inflation too much. If I like a certain item or background I don't have to worry about the restockers grabbing all of them and jacking up the price to something insane... I just need this NC to last me like a year so I have to be confident in my purchases. So for me, NC is a little bitter sweet. lol

The trading "prices" of some of the retired NC items differ compared to how much they initially costed when they were in the mall.

Definitely. I did that on other games I played too, LOL. Like Mabi and Maplestory.

But honestly it's kinda fun to have a 'limit', because then you get more excited about what you're buying. :)

 

I'm contemplating whether I should get some NC or not. I don't mind spending my money, but it's just that most of the NC items look somewhat... tacky haha.
