You are not guaranteed to get the Space Faerie as a challenger when you redeem a code. It's random. You may have to redeem multiple codes before you get her as a challenger.

 

 

This was my ticket response after I entered a code, got a lousy 708 neopoint award and NO SPACE FAERIE CHALLENGER! Needless to say I am *very* pissed. Who seriously believes this or thinks TNT is just freaking lieing so they don't have to look into things? I also had them tell me they don't return stolen pets and then that my pet has been on a frozen account for too long and can't be returned...

I have been looking everywhere in my state for just 1 Neopets item to get the Space Faerie as a challenger this is horrible that it is random!!!

That's really...beyond silly. I mean, they state that they try and make things fair for everybody - they make it seem like they're not all about giving an big advantange to people who buy their things. But the Delina thing (where she was a mandatory Quest and ate up one real Quest), and now this ticket proves otherwise.

 

I've never heard of this happening before you but I suppose it must, then? o_0; Gah. And that could mean buying multiple objects in order to randomly obtain it! Thanks for the warning....spares me from being surprised.

I see it was a TCG code you redeemed, which in fact do not give out the SF as a challenger.

You have to use a normal merchandise code (KQ codes don't work either), I have no idea what all this "random" nonsense is about. It's never been random, either that or literally everyone has been lucky enough to unlock her with the first code they redeemed. Seems rather odd that they would give you false information. That's the support team for you, I guess.

 

 

You can buy cheap SF codes off Ebay for like 3 bucks if you still want one, by the way. They e-mail the code to you so you don't have to wait forever.

In regards to stolen pets, they WILL restore them. I had the misfortune of getting my account 'hacked' by someone (I'm guessing a cookie grabber) and they traded away my UC Darigan Draik. I was just...heartbroken and freaking out. I contacted TNT and was able to get access to my account back myself as they didn't change the email on file but I had to wait for TNT to deal with the stolen pet. Luckily within like..a day...my draik was back to my account :) They were very nice and helpful and I was so relieved. This was maybe like...two months ago? So I don't think the policy is quite what you say and that perhaps there was an extenuating circumstance on your case.

My first ticket, I had never expected to get my pet back because yes it was my own stupidity. I took that my pet wouldn't be returned, not happily but I accepted it. Yes I was not cookie grabbed but her responses were straight up lies. They do return pets, lent and traded pets as lilangel was trading hers, and the diane lender got her draik returned. I pointed these out in the ticket below and merely got, too long nothing we can do.

This is the ticket I opened after lilangel had a pet she traded for returned to its forzen owner and her own pet returned. Also after being upset that the person who stole my pet had still not been frozen.

 

I am no stranger to being lied to by TNT, if the code I entered isn't supposed to give the space faerie then that it what the response should have been. However I have dealt with AbbeyS before and I know she is either a blithering idiot or can't read. Which saying that on the forums has landed me with a 4 day silencing currently. Even though I have a ticket showing her incapibilites to read if you all want to see that one too, I guess stating the truth with evidence is not allowed. The first ticket was actually SummerK responding. I do not know if she decided to go by another name to escape her past discreations or was fired/let go/quit and that is the new girl taking her spot.

To reiterate for people who didn't see my post, IT'S NOT RANDOM! :thumbsup:

 

The support team is a joke..... I agree it's like most of the time they don't even read your ticket and just give you some bull answer so they can get on to the next ticket. :/

I really don't see how it takes them weeks/months to answer tickets if all they do is hand out automated responses (or answers that makes no sense) anyways. I love Neopets but this support team definately needs to be replaced.

Well regardless if it really is random or not, I logged on today for the first time since the 26th and found that my account has been perma silenced since the 28th. I have no clue why they banned me since I wasn't even online to break their idiotic rules by pointing out the truth in their incompetence. Now I guess it no longer concerns me. Good bye TNT, piss off.

 

Now all my "poor" pets will rot. Oh well. Peace out TDN, may you have better luck with TNT than I had.
