April
I just made one of my dogs her own profile. facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003467445208 Has anyone else ever done this?
neoskulltula
Well, my very hip friend made one for her cat. So you're fine :)
khaos
No! Not pathetic at all. Just... um... I can't find the right word... but not pathetic!
April
Aha, it was a random urge. I'd make one for all my cats and dogs but I'm too lazy to make that many new emails.
hrtbrk
Yes! I did for my dog... he died in July and I still get Dogbook updates even though it says he's deceased -_- Fur babies count! lol
April
I originally had her on dogbook then made her an an actual profile. And sorry about your dog. :( I'll be so sad when my baby's gone. :(

April
Thanks. She knows she's cute... She can get away with murder. XD But meh, I was just bored and curious to see how many other dog friends she can find, lol! This is what happens when I have hours of nothing to do. And I have no inspiration to read or write. Nataluna
my friend made ones for her BFs dog, and hers doesn't have one, but really it probably is 80% of the updates she makes to her FB profile :P both of them are spoilt rotten, the BFs one is very bad tempered now (his parents don't follow through with any training he tries to put in place), but hers is absolutely adorable! and not weird. some of my family have one for their baby as soon as its born, :P
April
Nice! I'm still training that dog. She's just turned a year old but progressing very well. She's not spoilt, but she does get lots of attention. XD
Sweetdang
HAHAHAH Don't worry, my friend has one for her dog, too, and my other friend even has her dog on her "this room belongs to" platecard thing! :D
April
Aha, nice! I'm now using her account to post cheesy dog jokes. -is crazy-
CrazyBiscuit
I think it's sweet. My friend had a facebook profile for her dog and, at one time, it had more facebook friends than her! She's since deleted her own account, but she's kept the dog's one. Maybe you'd like to join a website like dogster.com where lots of people have a profile for their canine (or feline on catster.com) friend. Sometimes they write it as though it's the viewpoint of the dog, sometimes they talk about the dog instead. I never got around to making a profile like that, but I made a page on a memorial website called critters.com when my rabbit passed away. My reasoning was I wanted to share with others how special my bunny was, but I've always found it difficult to update because I still miss him. My point is that there are whole communities based on it and it can be a very fun or cathartic thing to do. :)
Trig
Nope! I think it's cute! I know lots of people who make accounts for their dogs or cats, don't worry!
