If you want to win the cup, you have to join the most popular teams. Right now, I think Darigan is gathering tons of new fans.

No, TNT directly said, they calculate the points based on how many people joined, that way a team with more people would have no advantage over one with less.

From what I understood of the scoring (at least when we got points at the end) -- you got 1 point for your team (and yourself) for each point you got playing the game (meaning a score in the game)

 

This way, winning or loosing doesn't count for or against you.

No, I meant something like the following:

 

TJ plays the game, scored 3 points and wins 3-0. TJ's team (whichever he is supporting) gets three points, and then 3 points are added to TJ's total prize points at the end.
