Tyler, you live in USA, but it's a different timezone right?

I don't know when that'll be for me.

It sure does. ^_^ *hugs you all*

And Ryan, it'll be 1 PM for you, because it was 8:30 here when you said it was 6:30 there.

Nope. He's in Arizona, which for some strange reason, doesn't do DST. So when DST is in affect, AZ is 1 hour off from the rest of the time zone that it usually matches. (My cousin lives in Arizona, which is why I knew that originally.)

Huh. That's funny. Way to go, Arizona! DST is silly anyway. =P

Still, that is rather confusing. Especially for cross-state business dealings and whatnot. Does it trip you up a lot when you visit your Arizona cousin?

Posted

I've only visited her twice in AZ. Both trips were during December, so there was no time difference. Usually, her and her family come to Colorado in July.

It is silly, but for some reason, I like DST.

I just dislike the changes. I'd be fine with staying on DST or off DST, but it's so confusing to suddenly lose an hour and then gain an hour. When DST is on, I'm exactly 12 hours away from Theo, and now I'm either 13 or 11 hours away and can never quite remember. (And as I'm now co-writing a story with him, those time differences are rather important.)

Haha, that's a neat way to look at it! :laughingsmiley: But then when you lose an hour, it's like someone took what you won. =[

I looked back at my post and thought the same thing for a second. Power of suggestion I guess. :laughingsmiley: I always despise typos and compulsively must fix them.

Same here. I can't stand a typo. And what's worse, they always seem to show up glaringly bright when I'm letting someone else read something I've written. Pesky errors. *shakes head*

Yep. I hate that. Or when I notice one, once someone has already quoted me. That's why I read my posts again after I post them, to make sure.

That's the nice thing about forums, you can go back and edit your mistakes and it will be like it never was. I hate when I'm texting or im-ing and I mess up and notice of course right after I hit send and there is no going back then :rolleyes_anim:

Editing is a heck of a tool when you are bad at spellings. Firefox helps too.
