Spritzie
I love the Pretzel M&Ms. Those are my favorite. I haven't watched TV in months though, so I haven't seen the commercials for them yet. Are they good?
Noog
Pretzal M&Ms? *has never heard of them* Has anyone seen the doritos commercial with the guy crazy for doritos? XD
Spritzie
They've put out some new M&Ms recently. Pretzel included. And there's coconut ones too, though they haven't totally hit store shelves here yet.
livvy
Coconut M&Ms? Bleh. :sick01: I don't believe I have, Noog. I haven't watched TV in a while; most of the commercials I've seen are the ones that come on Hulu.
Spritzie
My husband really wants to try them. Personally, I can't stand the taste of coconut. It's just gross. But the pretzel ones are amazing.
Noog
I like the taste of coconut. Why is it that every topic here eventually leads to food? o_O
livvy
I don't like coconut either. It's nasty. >_> Chocolate and pretzel are an amazing combination though. :imaginary yum smiley: EDIT: It's an unspoken rule of the HOP. All topics will eventually lead to food. Spritzie
:imaginary yum smiley: I agree. It's a perfect combo... sweet and salty. And Noog, I have no idea. They usually do it when I'm at work, and hungry. I guess this time it was my fault... bring up M&M commercials.
CAV of Gang Green
Hey guys I'm back. What'd I miss?
livvy
It's not your fault, Spritz. Like I said. It's a natural law of the HOP. The IC had a long discussion on our food-centric tendencies.
CAV of Gang Green
Pretzel M&Ms are good. But I hate the taste of coconut altogether, so I won't be having those.
Spritzie
And we had that long discussion on ice cream in the forbidden forum too. It lasted quite awhile.
livvy
Part of the appeal of food topics is the simple fact that everyone eats. It's not one of those topics you can have no opinion on. "Oh, well I don't like food. Next topic please." :P
CAV of Gang Green
Oh well I don't like food, next topic please. :P jk.
Noog
What if someone comes here with no taste buds? o_O
livvy
Then they would have a very serious problem indeed. o_O But it might be a good thing to have no taste buds, because then you can eat nasty, healthy things like spinach without gagging.
Noog
Spinach isn't that bad...unless you cook it :sick01: Most vegetables and fruits taste badly cooked. Tomatoes are one of the only exceptions.
CAV of Gang Green
That part is true. But this means you also can't taste awesome things like ice cream, candy, or pizza.
livvy
Like cooked carrots. :sick01: They're just too mushy. I don't like tomatoes in any form. They're one of the few fregetables that I can say I honestly don't like.
Noog
Tomatoes are fruit, Livvy :P The ongoing argument about tomatoes continues.
CAV of Gang Green
I always thought of tomatoes as a vegetables, but I couldn't care less. Tomatoes are food. End of story. Done. Let's move on with our lives.
livvy
They always show up in the vegetable category of the cheesy food pyramids they showed us as kids! They must be vegetables. D= But given that the definition of fruit is the part of the plant that stores the seeds, then tomatoes must be fruit. So if tomatoes must be fruits, and tomatoes must be vegetables, the only logical conclusion is that they are fregetables. :P
Noog
Nevermind. I realized that corn is also a tolerable cooked vegetable. Are beans vegetables? Those are good too.
livvy
Corn would be intolerable uncooked. One of the few. Beans are technically legumes. They're not vegetables because they're not "other parts" and they're not fruits because they're not the part that holds the seed. They are themselves the seeds. Noog
Legumes, whatever. Peanuts/beans can be vegetables if they want to :P
