CAV of Gang Green Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 How do you watch baseball? So boring! T-T It's not boring. You just happen to tune into boring games. Diamondbacks haven't been very exciting. Look on MLB network, and they show amazing plays. Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Blue. Blue is a pretty awesome color, isn't it? But you never find blue food. Odd, huh? /pointed subject change Quote
Revenge Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Blueberries, Livvy. And those foods associated with them. Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 :O... My point has been defeated. -_- But what about other foods? There are no blue vegetables. No blue other things. Just blueberries, which are really purple. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Blueberry pie!!! Especially SMUSHED blueberry pie. I STILL have some leftover. Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I'll relieve you of that extra blueberry pie. :D Quote
IrishLiz Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Yeah, last season wasn't the greatest for the D-Backs. I still love baseball though. I grew up on it - my grandpa had season tickets at the university (before AZ had a team) and I've been going to games since I was a few months old. I like going to the games, but I don't usually watch it on TV because it's not the same. Quote
Tyler. Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I once went to a Dodger's game didn't pay attention just ate b) Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Liz is right. Baseball is much better in person than it is on the TV. Quote
IrishLiz Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Oh and grammar typos bug me sometimes too... like using "it's" when it's supposed to be "its." Some sentences are funny if you make the contraction "it is" when someone meant to write its. It also bugs me when the wrong "there," "their," or "they're" is used. I guess I'm a little picky about that sometimes. Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 It's understandable to be picky. Just because they sound the same doesn't mean they ARE the same. Where are their dogs? They're over there. Quote
bringmetherawr Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 You guys remind me of my english teacher :P Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I take it that's a bad thing, Rawr? :P Sorry; I'm a bit of a grammar nerd. (Note the word "nerd" rather than "nazi." I am NOT a grammar nazi.) Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Sorry for way out of topicness, but I officially can't wait for Deathly Hallows. I just saw the trailer and it's full of win. Quote
Revenge Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 My grammar nerd ways only go so far as spelling. I'm horrible at sentence structure. I try though. ;) They have the trailer out already? Man, and to think I haven't seen any of the movies since the third one. :( Quote
bringmetherawr Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Naah, it's not a bad thing :P I swear everyday she told us how each "there" was suppossed to be used. She probably thought my whole class was dumb. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 They have the trailer out already? Man, and to think I haven't seen any of the movies since the third one. :( Yes the trailer is out. Here it is: I've seen all movies, I own all movies, and I own all the books. I'm a nerd I know. Quote
Revenge Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Since when could you embed videos? Last time I tried, that feature wasn't available here. <_< 3D. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I actually want to see it in 3D. But 2D will be just fine. I think it came with the new board layout. Quote
bringmetherawr Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I wish I read all the books. I only got up to the third book and I stopped because I couldn't get through it. ..and I accidently ripped the cover, so I wasn't allowed to use my brothers book any more -.- Quote
livvy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Ugh, I can't stand the Harry Potter movies. The book series was 99% amazing. (The missing 1% was that she killed Remus and one of the twins. ) But the movies are so off from the actual books. It's really disappointing. :sad01_anim: Quote
Revenge Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Again, I've only seen the first three, and I was fine with what they did with that. But I haven't seen the more serious ones, and honestly I'm a bit skeptical that they pulled them off. I'll have to watch them soon. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Half Blood Prince recived critical acclaim, and is considered the best summer blockbuster from 2009. It was also the highest grossing movie of 2009 until Avatar was released. Half Blood Prince is also said to be the best one in the series, and I couldn't agree more. I like both the books and movies. Try to note that it's hard to fit the entire book into 2 hours of film, so they have to cut parts out. They go for the most important parts. And since there's so much to explain from Deathly Hallows, they have to make 2 parts, adding to a total of 4-5 hours of movie goodness. Quote

I don't think people could sit for that long, I know I couldn't. Quote
Revenge Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Nah, if they made just one movie, they'd cut so much it'd be complete crap to moviegoers and HP fans. I like the movies I saw. But for the same reason as the line above, I'm unsure if I'd enjoy the 5th or 6th movies. I really got into those books. Quote
