-Ryan Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Yeah, we have to carry our stuff around EVERYWHERE! My history book alone is like 10 pounds! Dx My MS was a nightmare. How so? Quote
Anisha Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Anisha - "I have confidence in meeeeeee!" Haha thats from Sound of Music. I already have a lot of friends in that grade....but I am still scared!!! :laughingsmiley: And "I have cookies with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!" -- Random. You have friends in that grade? :O Good girl! How so? :guiltysmiley: Um Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Ryan - Ouch! That is horrible! You dont have "cubbies"? That is the version of lockers that we had in ES. EDIT: I really need to refresh more! Anisha - Yup I do so I am not REALLY worried. I am just really sad to be leaving all of my friends behind! Quote
-Ryan Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Aw, I just realized that like half my friends will be 9th graders now and are going to high-school. Dx Um ... Okay. Nope. I kinda miss cubbies though. xD And i've always wanted one of those desks that are hollow on the inside that you can put stuff in. :O Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I love those desks! I was so organized in mine...*remembers* Ahhhhh such a long time ago!! Quote
Anisha Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 We have double desk, two sit together. And they make it a boy and a girl in one desk. <_< I hate that. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Oooh that sucks! Different teachers have the desks arranged differently. My favorite arrangement is my Latin Teacher's, it is a huge V! Quote
-Ryan Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Ew, that sucks. Sorry Anisha. Dx I hate when they do the boy-girl-boy-girl pattern... Dx Bleh, i'd much prefer to sit by my best friend in the computer lab... <.< Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Same here! Especially in Gym class where they ALWAYS order it boy-girl. :( Quote
Anisha Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 We don't change rooms like you do. Teachers go from one class to other. So ... our sitting arrange is same all the time! Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 That must be horrible! It is so nice to get up and stretch your legs as you walk from class to class. And the Air Faerie wants me to get her Pretzel Compact. Could you guys help me? Quote
Noog Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Boy-Girl Gym classes? Ah memories. Once I got into high school, they stopped those. Our high school has separate Gyms for Boys and Girls. You know what I hate? Left handed desks <_< Quote
-Ryan Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Lulz, you have a boys and girls gym class? The only time they put our classes together is on the running track and we're usually leaving when they come out. Something about they don't want us to get distracted. Wow, really? I couldn't stand that. Sorry Anisha. Dx Quote
Anisha Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Pretzel Compact. Click there, Divya. Your Faerie Quest item is here. ;) And hate how Indian schools are all so boring. :( Sucks. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Believe me, all of the boys ARE distracted, with all of the girls RUNNING around! UGH! HATE left handed desks! One of my teachers is left handed so all of her desks are lefted handed. <_< Thanks Anisha! BUT THANK YOU VL!!! Quote
Noog Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 lol, our middle school wasn't on a wide lot, so it was really long lengthways. My last year there I had band on one side of the school, and gym the next block on the complete other end. They were the furthest apart, and I had 2 minutes to get there. Was I late? Sometimes. Did the coach get mad? Yes. No Problem Divya :) Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Thanks again! Ugh she made my NON BD pet faster. <_< But its ok. My school is on a small lot so it 3 stories tall. LOTS of running up and down stairs! Quote
-Ryan Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I have to slap my friend Joe and tell him to stop staring when they start doing jumping-jacks. Dx Left hand desk = Extremely annoying. Dx Heh, I can come into gym class as late as I want so long as I get there and change into gym clothes before everyone leaves. I love my coach, he's saved me from detention so many times. xD "What? I was in the library!" "For 20 minutes after the bell?" "It was a good book!" "Ugh. Fine..." Quote
Anisha Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 My school is HUGE!! x_x It takes forever to walk from one class to other. And our cheerleading place is two building pass my class. Wonder how I have to walk back and forth all the time. <_< Quote
-Ryan Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 My school is failry small... Just three buidlings in a big triangle shape. xD And i'm sooo glad most of the schools in the district are designed the same way. That way when i'm at chess tournaments(NERDS FTW!) I don't get lost. xD Quote
Noog Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Well because of how narrow our school was, I would say that the band room and the gym were about 2 blocks apart. The lot was only the width of a large house, so it was basically one building behind another o_O My MS was about 500 people (the MS splits up into about 4 HS.) and my HS has about 1000. Our high school could be bigger, but they'd rather make the district limit and shove 36 people in each class. :/ Then there's gym which my classes (mine were the biggest in YEARS because of complications) which were 50-70. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Oof all of these big schools sound horrible! My school is split in two, one half on one side of the football field and the other on the other side. :sad01_anim: Ughhhh I am constantly running 100 yards! Quote
Noog Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Aren't you headed to different school next year anyway Divya? Quote
Anisha Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Meh. I don't like huge school. They take time to walk. And we have so many students. There are like 100s of Divyas in our school. :P Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Yes, yes I am. And the HS is HUGE!! I mean GIGANTIC! Roughly 5 buildings all 3 floors across football/baseball/soccer fields. EDIT: LOL Anisha! Quote
