Spritzie Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I got mine done by gun as well. At first it was swelling up and red for the first week when I used rubbing alcohol but I did a little research and switched to Sea Salt and it went back to normal. I have a bump on the back of my ear though. I had to get a CAT scan too but I didn't take it out because it was freshly done (a week) so I took the chance to mess up my results, haha. I heard it hurts a lot to get it re-pierced. I'm left handed so I got it done on my right ear which I feel is a big mistake :/ Did it hurt a lot to get them done? Oh, are you going to get those re-pierced? I'm planning to get an industrial by needle once I get to college. Do you know the spiral cartilage earrings? The bump should go away. I had them on a couple of mine, and they went away. I waited 3 years to re-pierce the first one. And it didn't hurt anymore than the first time. I made the mistake (twice) of getting both sides done at once. :laughingsmiley: Talk about having a hard time sleeping. I hate pain. I have a very low tolerance, but they didn't hurt too bad. The piercing itself wasn't bad. It was the week or two afterwards. They were really sore. Now, none of them bother me at all. I will probably re-pierce the 3rd set at some point. I want to put small diamonds (from my great-grandma's wedding band) in 1 set, then my tiny hoops in the other 2. I've seen those. Those are adorable, but I still cringe looking at them. I also like the piercing in that part of cartilage right in front of the ear, but I hear those are one of the most painful ones. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Booimaninja just report yourself. I was freaking out when I double posted but then Anisha told me to report myself and it was all good! Quote
Spritzie Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 @Spritzie - Did it hurt to get another piercing on the earlobe? To me, earlobe piercings don't hurt. There's the slight discomfort. But once you've got your cartilage pierced, it's not bad at all. Quote
-Ryan Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 What Divya said but it appears to already have been taken care of. -Dosen't join conversation because he dosen't have anything to mention about earrings and peircings except say that he agrees with CAV and Noog.- Quote

Hahaha, exactly why I didn't get it done at the same time because all my friends were telling me it was going to be painful to sleep on so i decided to get it on one ear at a time. How long did you have your bump? I'm hoping mine isn't a keloid though. That's how mine was, it was sore but it was bearable. Sometimes I enjoyed the pain, ha, I'm weird. Aw, that sounds cute :) I heard hoops hurt to put in though and I want to buy a spiral earring but I'm afraid that it might hurt because it looks difficult to put in. I'm assuming you're talking about the rook? I heard it is a bit painful to get done. Do you know what size/gauge your cartilage is? Thanks Divya :) Edited July 11, 2010 by Booimaninja Quote

If you're concerned, I'd go back to where you had it done, and ask them about it. I had no idea what they called that. I had a friend who's sister had one. It was cute, but I could never do it. It hurts to think about it. :laughingsmiley: I don't, actually. Quote

I'm scared to ask because my mom would kill me if I actually do have keloid :( Oh, haha, rooks look super painful because (to me) I could see it THROUGH the skin and you see the opening and stuff like that, eeek. Do you just buy earrings for it without considering the gauge? Quote

Do you just buy earrings for it without considering the gauge? I didn't need to. I got it pierced, the same size as regular lobe piercings. I kept the earrings they pierced them with, in for about a month, then I replaced them with small hoops. (The hoops were smaller than the original piercing earrings.) And I kept the hoops in from then on. Quote
Booimaninja Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Ohh, I got them done the same size as earlobes as well but I want earrings especially for cartilages but they're all like 16g or 14g. I heard regular earlobes are done at 18g or 20g :/ I'm afraid to stretch the cartilage because I heard it's painful/impossible. Quote
Spritzie Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 My hoops are really tiny and I've had to stretch them a little, when I went back to the piercing studs. (Or when I went from the hoops, to the screw back diamond earrings.) It hurts a bit, but if you take care of them afterwards, they heal back up. Quote

Today, I changed my earrings from 18g studs to 20g studs. I decided to change it back to the 18g after a few hours because I heard that they have a tendency to close when they're not fully healed so I assumed that they would go from 18g to 20g if I kept them on. Was I becoming paranoid? Did stretching them out really work? o___o; Quote
Spritzie Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 You just have to be gentle, and push it through and it works. I've only done it a few times. Usually, once I have the hoops in, I leave them in. Quote
Theresa2 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I have a few ear percings I like purple rubies that would look totaliiy cute with preety diamons one in the front and the other in the back Quote
Booimaninja Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Oh, I see. I'm a bit scared to take that risk though, haha. Ugh, I just lost my purple Sticky Hand Weapon or whatever it is =___=; Quote
-Ryan Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 -Seizes chance at a BD topic- You can lose those in battle? -Didn't know that- Quote
Spritzie Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 There's some challengers that steal items. And you can steal items from them too. (Don't know how it works in 2 player.) Quote
Booimaninja Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Oh wait, nevermind, I got it back. It said something about using it but instead I gave it? hahaha. I was like NOO! But I got it back when I won :) Quote
-Ryan Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Bleh. -dosen't wanna fight those challengers- And gratz on getting it back. ^^ Quote
Booimaninja Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I'm not really good at this battling stuff though D: It's hard to train my neopet when the stats are so mixed up from the lab ray :/ Quote
-Ryan Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 The lab ray put my attack SUPER high, my speed fairly high, and my level and defense SUPER low. xD Quote
Booimaninja Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Yeahh! It's my defense and level that's the lowest :/ Grr. I need to raise the level to be able to train my pet. It's getting very expensive too D: Quote
Spritzie Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I had that happen with a pet. She had 87 HP. Strength was so-so. And she was level 1. All thanks to the lab ray. Quote
Spritzie Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I'm training a little bit, since I have a stock-pile of codestones. Quote
Tyler. Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I love the BD, I plan to train my bori and then apply for BD staff here  Quote
