-Ryan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Jehovahs witness? And saying goodbye is the hardest thing I suppose... I hate goodbyes. Dx But as long as theres a chance of seeing them again(Heaven) i'm happy. ^^ Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Jehovahs witness? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah's_Witnesses Look there and you'll have your answer. Basicly, they take beliefs of Christanity and Catholism, and then twist them into extreme beliefs. My grandmother said that when the world is about to fall apart, God will strike down evildoers, and ressurect the good. But if this is so, then why has God struck down yet? The world is about to fall apart. And that's why their beliefs are corrupt. They're also the people that knock on your door to read you the bible or shout about going to heck and being saved on city corners or parks. Quote
livvy Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I enjoy swimming. I mean, it's not super amazing, but I enjoy doing it. And yeah, night swimming is totally cool. I'm okay with reptiles. I don't LOVE them or anything, but I don't mind them. Then again, I haven't been pranked with them either. What I don't like is flying bugs that buzz. I've been afraid of them ever since my babysitter stepped on a half-dead bee when she was barefoot and got the stinger stuck in her foot. She cried, I cried, I had fear. Quote
Noog Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 This topic got suddenly depressing instead of random. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Only TDNers can switch from random to depressing that quickly. :P Quote

My classmates kept an Iguana in my locker, 1 year back. I screamed the crap out of me. Yeah. And from then, I was the funniest topic, ever. <_< I don't like flies either. :sad01_anim: I have been stung by a bee, I remember. Painful, that was. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 -Tries to not laugh- An Igauna you say? That's- HA!- terrinble. :P I have yet to be stung by a bee and I don't want too. -Hides from bee outside my window- Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I do what I can to not get stung by a bee. One day in Coney Island, a bee chased me down the entire beach. My friends laughed at me. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Lulz. At school last year my friend took my shoe, threw it at a bee, and we both ran about 50 yards before we realized we weren't being chased and later found out he killed it. xD Me and my friends are idiots when we get together and it's so much fun. xD But seriously, the whole beach? Evasive manuevers CAV. ;) Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 If I turned, the bee would beat me to it and would sting me. So all I could do is try to outrun it. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 You could always have dived, rolled, gone under the bee, and ran the other way. And there's always the option of running towards your friends so they have to flee with you. :P Quote
Divya Bean Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I havent been stung by a bee, and I dont plan to! I am like you guys, running from the evil bees!!!!! AHHH! THEY'RE AFTER ME! Quote
Masaryk Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I got my first bee sting last year. It's most ridiculous, the way that I got stung. For a bit of background: I'm a botanist. I'm currently working on a project, doing plant surveys along high-voltage power lines. I'm outdoors, all summer, walking through forests and fields of raspberry bushes, tall grasses, and wildflowers. There are bees everywhere (and mosquitoes and blackflies). One day, after coming home from work, I did my laundry, including my work clothes. When the wash cycle finished, I found a dead bumble bee in the bottom of the washing machine, missing it's stinger. I guess it had gotten caught in my clothes while I was working, then died in the wash. I hadn't been stung by it, so while I was hanging my clothes on the line, I kept checking everything to see if I could find the stinger. No luck. A couple days later, I was grocery shopping and I felt this strange pain in my foot, near my little toe. It hurt to walk, like I had a blister on my toe or something. I thought that the pain would just go away after a couple of minutes, but it didn't. When I left the store, I took of my shoe and sock to check my foot, and my toe was very swollen. Then I remembered the dead bee in the washer. I had been stung by my sock! Quote
Theresa2 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 oh no iam sorry you got stong by a bee Iam alegic to them I have to be carful not to get stung I always have to carry a epi pen just incase I do havent use it yet so Iam preety lucky Quote
Ruto Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Wow, what a way to get stung. XD I got stung by a wasp the other day while swimming. I was trying to kill it with a flyswatter, but it managed to slip off and land on my wrist. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 You could always have dived, rolled, gone under the bee, and ran the other way. It was a fast bee. It would've dived and I would get stung in the face. Quote
Unstream Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Thankfully, I've never been stung by a bee (and I don't intend to...ever). :P Quote
Tyler. Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 once I had something that really hurt that looked like a bee sting, what it was I may never know Quote
Wembly Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I smell sabotage. :shiftyeyes_anim: I thought that said cabbage. I was very amused and would also make that face. I figured that my name would be something religous. On state tests, my name appears as "Christ" because Christopher is too long. I believe that when I see "Christ" on state tests instead of Christopher, it means that Jesus has blessed me. And then I do really well on those tests. Haha, that's pretty sweet. I fear water where you can't see bottom. But my actual fear is the CREATURES in the water where you can't see bottom. I'm practically blind without my glasses on so I pretty much can't see the bottom even in the 3 foot clear ocean and yesterday I stepped on a crab, jellyfish, and giant clam shell. I got my first bee sting last year. It's most ridiculous, the way that I got stung. ... I had been stung by my sock! Haha, sorry you got stung but that is hilarious. Quote
Noog Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hmm, I don't think I've even been stung either. If I was, I was too young to remember. Quote
Rising Star Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 XD. I remember when I was little, around 9 or 10, I was out walking in the woods. A bee happened to land on near my eyebrow. The exact place, I don't really remember :worried: I figured if I wouldn't move, or make any noises, the bee would simple fly away. Well... that didn't work! The flipping thing stung me, and it hurt like heck. This is the only time Ican remember being stung. Quote
Noog Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 There is no way I could have stayed calm if a bee landed on me. I would freak and start swatting everywhere :P Quote
Rising Star Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 There is no way I could have stayed calm if a bee landed on me. I would freak and start swatting everywhere :P I thought if I would have done that, then the bee would have stung me out of fear. :/ But it didn't help, and it stung me anyway. Quote
Divya Bean Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Is it true that bees die when they sting you? I have always wondered that... Quote
Rising Star Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Is it true that bees die when they sting you? I have always wondered that... Yeah. I wasn't 100% sure, so I googled it. Article It's sort of sad after you read that. :/ Quote
