Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Awwww...Now I feel young. I am 12 turning 13 in July. I cant wait! :laughingsmiley: Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I've found her twice now, and I was able to clear the mist a bit on the second one. So I won't be obsessing about finding her again today. EDIT: Divy, I'll be 25 in July. Which means cheaper car insurance. YAY! :laughingsmiley: Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Now I feel even younger! Grrrr...if only... :laughingsmiley: Quote
Anisha Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 EDIT: Divy, I'll be 25 in July. Which means cheaper car insurance. YAY! :laughingsmiley: Cheaper car insurance? lol. This made me laugh. I am 15 so looks like I am the middle one over here. :laughingsmiley: Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Yes, yes you are. I was looking at the Tarla thread and no one has found her in a while. Where is she? I think people might have stopped looking and are expecting others to find her and post. Not that that is what I am doing... Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I just feel so old sometimes. I remember when I couldn't wait to turn 6. :laughingsmiley: That was a long time ago. Or recently, I ran into a girl I went to middle school and HS with. She has 2 degrees. (Chemistry and biology) I hadn't seen her in 10 years. I've been driving for nearly 10 years now. Then I think about my sister. She'll be 28 this year. My old best friend I grew up with, who got married in Dec. is probably 32 by now. I'm even nearly 3 years older than my husband. (Though he looks older. We went out for dinner with my sister right after we got married, and we all order margaritas. They carded me and my sister (We were 23 and 26) And he didn't. He was 21 EDIT: That's how I look at aging right now. Every year has been closer to cheaper car insurance. No point in freaking out. When my sister turned 23, she started buying anti-aging cream. I'm like, pffft. Bring it on. But then again... I've always looked younger than I am. When I was 23, I had friends who were sure I was under 18. I was like, ummmm no. Quote
Anisha Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I searched at the Terror Mountains right now, just to time pass. But did't find her. I think some people (like me) must have gave up or something like that. This Tarla is very quick. She vanished like anything. EDIT: That's how I look at aging right now. Experience every single bit of my life. It must be fun. :laughingsmiley: Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Hahaha! That is sooo funny because I look much younger than I am, but in my profile picture. In reality, I probably look about 8. <_< Quote
Anisha Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Hahaha! That is sooo funny because I look much younger than I am, but in my profile picture. In reality, I probably look about 8. <_< No worries, looking young is good. Well, I am pretty short for my age. I am 5'4 and everyone in our classes are at least an inch taller than me. But then again, who cares? Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 When I was younger, someone I grew up around, asked me when I was turning 12. I was like.... ummm.... 3 years ago?? (I was 15) :laughingsmiley: But looking young runs in my family. People often refer to my dad as my mom's son. (She is not amused by that one.) Or when he took me to my HS once, some people thought he was my bf. :laughingsmiley: My dad was the heart-throb of the parents. My sister and I both had far too many friends that thought he was cute. lol My grandma, she died when she was 79. Up until when she got really sick, he looked maybe 60. And I'm 5'6. So that could help with how old i look. My sister looked 18 when she was 12. But she got height from my dad. She's 5'11 Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Nice! You are a rather tallish person. I am short and I am just barely 5 ft. I hope to someday reach the height of the grand 5'5. Like that'll ever happen. :laughingsmiley: Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I was only 5'4 by the time I was 16. I didn't get my last 2 inches until after that. Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 My doctor says I should be 5'5...so I got my hopes up! Now a couple of months later and I have only grown 1/2 inch...I am not so sure. :sad01_anim: Quote
Anisha Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Aww! That was so cute. They thought that your dad was your bf? Wow. He must be very young looking. In our family, I am the only one who's short. My brother is 6'3 and he is 20 right now. I look so much different from my parents. I am very pale, unlike for an Indian. I have bushy or kind of curly black hair. But both my parents have straight. And I have big brown eyes (most of the Indians or Asians have black eyes). Sometimes it makes me feel so different from my family. And my cousin tease me that I am adopted or something. I just hate them. <_< But it's okay. I am over it. Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I look just like my dad. Everything. If I moved to India I would fit right in, or at least I do when I visit. However my clothes and personality and attitude are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy different. I can speak a little Hindi too. Hey Anisha, what city do you live in? Dont answer if it is to personal... I used to live in Mumbai. But we have shifted to Goa right now. Tell me when you visit over here. I would love to see you. ^_^ And obviously I know Hindi very well. But I can make mistakes while writing and stuffs. Over all, I am pretty good at it. Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 :laughingsmiley: People finally just now are beginning to think he's aging a bit. (He's now 51) He just looks younger than most at that age. But he's tall, slim, no grey hair and he's not losing it. (His brother is 95% bald, and he's younger than my dad) I look different from my family a bit. I take after my mom more. I have more the height and body shape of my mom. (She's 5'4. I'm 5'6) My sister took after my dad. (He's 6'2, she's 5'11) My whole family, except me, has blue eyes. Mine are green. My whole family was blonde as kids. (My mom and I had almost white blonde hair when we were young.) I kept the blonde the longest. Now my sister and dad have med brown. And my mom's is so dark, it's nearly black. But now, we all have dark hair. :laughingsmiley: My sister is dying her hair nearly black. And I decided to go dark in January, with a black cherry color. (Dark brown-ish, with slight red hints.) Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I used to live in Mumbai. But we have shifted to Goa right now. Tell me when you visit over here. I would love to see you. ^_^ I went to Mumbai last year! I have never been to Goa though. I mainly go to Dehli, ummm the Himalayas of course, and Calcutta. That is where my family lives except for the mountains. We go there because we CANNOT stand the heat! Quote
Anisha Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Wow Spritzie, you are blonde and have green eyes. You must be beautiful. :) In India, everyone has black hair and eyes. So, it's kind of boring, you know. I sometimes like the foreign better than India. The people, the cities ... everything. Wish I was born in US, lol. I went to Mumbai last year! I have never been to Goa though. I mainly go to Dehli, ummm the Himalayas of course, and Calcutta. That is where my family lives except for the mountains. We go there because we CANNOT stand the heat! I know what do you mean. It's really hot here in India. I just hate it! But Goa has a nice climate and I am glad about it. You should check it out. It's amazing. Kolkata is way too hot. We go their in winters only. Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I look TOTALLY different than all of my friends. I look like..Well just look at my pro pic. There are maybe 3 Indian kids in my school of 1000+ people. All of my friends are totally different from each other too. Except for the one, two, three...7 pairs of twins! :laughingsmiley: Quote

And hows the school there? Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Where I live is very divserse. I actually went to school with a couple of Indian kids. We had neighbors that were. No one here really looks that much a like. Hispanics, probably make up the second biggest part of the population. Mostly from Mexico. But I used to know quite a few families from different countries, like Cuba, Central America... etc. Quote
Divya Bean Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I found Tarla!!!! http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=885 OMG! I FOUND HER!!! :laughingsmiley: :laughingsmiley: :laughingsmiley: Quote
Spritzie Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Good catch Divy. That's number 3 for her. 1 for the mist. 2 prizes. Quote

The people were very friendly. They told us many things about French people and stuffs. I somewhat enjoyed it. I found Tarla!!!! http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=885 OMG!
