Quick question about Dubloons

Hey everyone, so a while ago i picked up a pet from the pound and thought i'd lucked out due to his high stats despite being level 1 and now i've realized that a) movement is pretty rubbish stat to have and b) i now have to bump his level up to 22 to actually do up any of his other stats with training.

 

so i was wondering am i able to split high amount dubloons like the 10 dubloon into 5*2 dubloons or can you only add lower values to together in the dubloon o matic

the dubloon-o-matic only adds up your lesser value dubloons to make a higher value one .. it doesn't give you change :guiltysmiley:

 

however you can sell your 10 dubloon coin and buy 2 fives , or trade it at the TP ....

i was wondering from a reselling point as well, as i realised for some reason one dubloon coins are worth the same as two dubloon coins ??

 

but ahwell guess ill have to keep buying two dubloons and selling the 5-10 dubloons i get from kraken attack

I always thought that it was weird that the island training doesn't give "change" back when you pay with a higher valued dubloon than what you need. After all, it's just a monetary transaction and other places where you pay in pirate currency (Golden Dubloon, Hidden Cove) give change.
