so the avatar guide here on TDN says that to get the Mazzew avatar, i need to :

 

View your pet's lookup that has a Mazzew attatched to it for 221+ days.

 

but i have a 777 days old Mazzew attached to my lupe, and i viewed my lupes pet look up pagehere:

 

i don't get the notice of receiving the avatar!

 

so i check my preferences on the board. sure enough it doesn't show me that i have the Mazzew avatar.

 

What's going on? did this avatar retire? did they update a way of getting it?

I haven't heard that the solution has changed, but maybe there's a glitch?

 

Have you tried importing your avatars on NeoAvatars yet? Maybe you have it and you missed it on your list. Importing would be an easy way to check if you have it and it's hiding or if it really is a glitch :P

 

But this wouldn't be the first time you looked at your lupes page, right? Chances are you got it a long time ago and are missing it in your list :)

the thing is i recent just imported all my avatars with the view source codes 2 days ago. i know i don't have it still....

This might be a weird suggestion, but have you tried viewing the lookup without a custom layout?

I'm not sure if it would have any affect but could be worth a try. Maybe it's preventing it from displaying or something?

 

The only other thing I can think of, aside from a glitch, is that you already unlocked another avatar of some sort using the mazzew.

i guess i'll try removing the layout first.

but about the mazzew, do you mean if i unlocked another avatar with mazzew? i don't remember if i have, or even if there's another that requires a mazzew, but why would using the same mazzew affect this one? :S

 

edit: i just tried removing my layout, didn't work either... :(

It was something that was brought up a while ago, that you can't use the same petpet to unlock more than one avatar, but it could have changed. So I'd recommend ignoring what I said there since I can't find the editorial where it was mentioned :laughingsmiley:

I'd recommend waiting until you hear back from TNT at the very least. Maybe they'll automatically give it to your or offer a solution.

 

Maybe it's name is too short? LOL (just throwing out random suggestions)

ok i just tried changing the name... STILL DIDN'T WORK! D:

this is frustrating me lol. must... have... avatar!

no replies from the ticket yet, how long does that usually take?
