If you stick up a notice on your UL he's up for trade, and another on in our own thread for UFA/UFTs, and you don't get a trader, then go on and zap! Also depending on what pet you want. Values rise and fall depending on things like paint brush availability, desire for pets, etc. A pet that might have been in high demand a year ago may not be now because of the paintbrush for the colour being mass-released (plot/event prizes), being easier/cheaper to acquire (pirate PBs now and Krawks and Draiks are becoming a little easier to come by). A pet may be worth more than a year ago because there are less of the pet in circulation (just ask Xepha about acquiring UC wockys).
