Masaryk
I don't see any reason to keep it a secret. It's a game. I don't hide that I like to play Castlevania games, Silent Hill games, Half-Life, Portal, Zelda, Metroid, Mario Bros, or any of the other games I like, so why would I hide that I play Neopets? I play lots of video games, and I have been playing video games for many, many years. I'm not ashamed of being a gamer. There are games I like and games I don't like, but I don't care if my family and friends like all the same games that I do.
Aalnius
no tbh im 19 and play it and as we speak im currently sat in a uni computer lab hiding neopets from people in here with me despite me not knowing any of them. i do speak to my best friend about it though as he used to play and he plays runescape which is much worse imo. i don't know why im ashamed of people knowing i play it, its probably because it looks like such a kids game but its weird because im proud of being a fan of kingdom hearts which everyone auto assumes is a kids game because it features disney chars
Sweetdang
WAIT. I do that, too. Although I'm super open about it, when I'm around people I don't know or don't know very well, esp in the Computer Lab, it gets... awkward ._.
Maxx Oris
Nah. I'm quite open and happy about it. Considering most of my family also play on there too... hehe.
billpika_x8
I only mention it occasionally, but it always ends in a "that's what she said" joke. That is why I don't talk about it much. It was cool with my friends 5 years ago. Now it's not.
Angeló
a long , long time ago (2003) , in a galaxy far , far away (back home) , I tried to lure my younger brother and a few of my best friends to play ... my brother and two friends made accounts ... but they soon abandoned them ... my friend particularly told me to "grow up" ... I was a bit disappointed ... but I didn't care ... I went on playing ... after i came back from hiatus in 2008 i didn't tell anyone - either way i live alone and i enjoy neopets on my own - my brother is a practical , serious guy who thinks these things are a waste of time ... and i lost touch with most of my friends from back then ... Lady Lyuba
I'm actually more open about Neo than I thought. I'm only open about Neopets to one friend in real life plus my mother. Online, however, more people know. I do Neopets artwork and stories on deviantART, so my watchers there know.
Atta
My parents know, and they both play too. They even give me little gifts every now and then C: Also, A few of my friends know, and they also have accounts! But... Nobody at school knows about it. I know they'll just tease me about it if they find out. They already make fun of me because I Still have Soft-Toys...
