The only petpet I heard that eats food is the Drackonack, because there's an avvie to it. It eats cheese!

So... you've made a discovery! Huggies eat food! I'm not so sure about others. :P

I tried to get the Drackonack avi one time, but it would not eat the chesse! I still don't have it. <_< That's interesting with the huggy eating food, maybe TNT will make an avatar out of it too!

I think most petpets will eat the food in your inventory ... so you should be careful if you have a rare item ...

Yeah I was under the impression that all petpets could do that but it was rare. I STILL, after several years of trying hard, have not been able to get the drackonack to eat the cheese for the avatar either :(

After a year of playing, and over 50 petpets from money tree, I never had this happen before. I tried googling and all I found was that only the Drakonack would eat cheese and you get an avatar. I got no avatar for this.

Almost all petpets eat food items from your inventory (unless they are in the auctions or trading post). This already happened 5 times to me. The petpets were reptilior, gruslen, bowla, the tyrranian one which looks like a snake, and of course, drakonack. Also, there's a pet that eats anything from your inventory too. It eats weapons mainly.

If I recall, all petpets can eat food (and only food) out of your inventory. However, they will only eat food that is directly next to them (to the right of them, as a general rule, though to the left as well), and they won't do this if they're on the TP or in an auction.

As for not getting the av- course not, that speficially requires a Drakonak to eat some cheese. ;)

Just to report on this post in case anyone is still interested, Splime can eat food too (ate my Sand Grapes, were to its immediate left; or my right).
