How much does the Forgotten Shore Map really cost?

Well, I know this may seem like a dumb question, but I'm really curious now. The day when it first came out, no one was sure how much it really costed. People began making random prices for pieces (I've even saw a one person selling it for 350k!) and after people began finding the Draik egg, prices have inflated like mad. Well right now, how much do you think it costs or will cost later on?

I have no idea what it will cost later on... though some users are doing a very good job at tracking its price on a daily basis.

The price seems to be around 450k-500k at the moment.

 

Although I think it will drop a little seeming as it's not a daily-reward daily.

I don't think we'll really know what it's worth for a few months. By then, we'll probably have a good idea of all the rewards it give out as well as how often it awards prizes. If it's s often as FFQ's are handed out, methinks the price will drop :P

I've gotten 3 prizes out of 5 days so far. Dropped about 500k for the map but am continuing to get a few pieces back. I'll start selling the pieces once they inflate a little more... XD

I paid about 450k for it last night. I'm thinking that was a mistake and I should have waited. A lot of people expect for it to deflate.

I'm waiting to buy - the way it's going, we've found what the most valuable prize is (the Draik egg) and that made the cost increase, but now it's started decreasing again. When it drops below 300k, as I think it will within the next few days, that's when I'll buy.

the chances to get a very valueable item are not high, but when you keep trying there is always a possiblity to gain a very value price. but on the other hand i think the pieces are not very rare. i have gotten already a few of these pieces in the daily , so if that's an avarage then there will be in a short time very much of these forgotten shore pieces in the market and prices can deflate then

I got a piece from AM and went to the Trading Post to price it and I saw people selling the same piece anywhere from 30k - 300k. *-*

I'm just going to keep my pieces and purchase some if needed once the price has deflated.

I paid 700k which was too much but I was really anxious to try it and wanted a full map. I don't like the daily much so far, there's nothing clickable so it just tells you oh, there's nothing today. If I get the avatar I'll feel better about the price, but I don't think it'll ever go as high as the secret lab map.

I've been pricing the pieces I get at Anchor Management on the shop wiz then just dropping the price by 500. I got the whole map for less than 300K using the TP and being quite patient, they are posted constantly so I just watched the new trades and bid low.

I spent 410k on the whole set from shop wizard last week. It was worth it though because I got the avatar on the first try :D.

I've already gotten five map pieces from AM so there's no way these map pieces can ultimately end up costing all that much. Especially since it's something you buy once and don't need ever again. Once all the people who really want the map have it and more pieces flood the market I think the price will end up being quite reasonable. I'm thinking I will probably just try saving my map pieces from AM and then buying the last few when I almost have them all.

For the past few days, my chances of getting more pieces have been decreasing. Ever since the news of the Draik Egg is one of the prizes, the whole set began increasing steadily. And Pirate Draik Eggs are super expensive if you can afford it. So I think it can inflate around 1 mil in a few months or years.

Edit: Okay, I'm ticked off now. I had the pieces in my shop so I could easily find them. I just pulled them out of my shop so I could see which ones I could get...it glitched, and instead of removing one, it changed the price to 1 np. I just lost all my pieces.

Are you sure it glitched and you didn't just put the 1 in the wrong spot? I've accidentally done it before. Either way, that's really unfortunate.

It may increase, since like I said before, the Anchor Management MAY stop giving out the pieces. And ever since the Pirate Draik Egg is one of the prizes, they became expensive.

 

And I'm really sorry about the glitched items. ;-;

i've been watching the prices to those map pieces in auctions, shop wizard ect. and some range from 25,000 to 50 or 60,000

thats what ive been seeing so far. personally. i want to gte rid of mine. selling it for 19,000 which is craaazy cheap. just want to get rid of it.

oh dear! I'm sure you'll find someone who'll give you a good deal on the whole set, though! Very unfortunate, but then, a cheaper mistake as compared to the one where I sold my paintbrush for 1.4 mil less than I was worth :/

I'm expecting a stabilized price to be anywhere from 100k to 150k. Anchor Management does frequently give out pieces of the map, at least, in my experience. More pieces means that demand of the players is more easily met, decreasing the price of the map.
