snowbunny
If I trade my pet with someone elses pet. And I did a custom on that pet. Can I trade it back for a different pet that person owns? thanks in advance!
Dcoolb
You can. It is the "Transfer" function of the pound. In there you can either just send the pet to them or trade.

Ok, I wanted to make sure because they are going to trade for one of my pets, then I will do a custom on the pet that they transferred me, then I am trading that pet back for another pet of theirs. Batman
No you can't do that. It is considered trading a pet for np. You cannot do a custom on a pet that the other user has already owned.

This is the correct response. You can only do a custom on your own pet.
snowbunny
No you can't do that. It is considered trading a pet for np. You cannot do a custom on a pet that the other user has already owned. But I would be trading back that pet for the pet I really want that she has. Ok, I want to clarify. They have a pet I wanted, and I offered to do a custom on one of my pets but the names aren't as appleaing. They like a name of a pet they already have. The plan was, trade the pet to me, I do a custom, then I trade it back in exchange for the pet I really wanted. Does that make sense? Is that not allowed? I want to make sure before I decline or accept. What about this: Can I adopt a pet from someone else, then do a custom and then trade? Another alternate choice that her friend would give one of her pets up for adoption to me, I would do the custom, then trade that pet for the pet I wanted. We want to do this the right way. I want her to be happy with the name she picks for the custom. we both are clueless and want to do this the right way. I really want the pet she has up for trade and she really wants a custom. I really want this one pet of hers really bad. The name is amazing ahhhhh!!! It's what they say on the pound board, epic? Well, the name of the pet is amazingly epic! OMG! That's why I offered to do the custom it's a high end custom normally I wouldn't do a custom like this but I want that pet because of the name sooooo bad. xSummer
as long as you pay for the transfer, i think it is allowed
fulgaraverde
Three-way trades are fine. As is adopting a pet from somewhere, doing the custom on that pet, and then trading. But you can't, under any circumstances, do the custom on a pet your friend already owns. It has to be on a pet of yours, or a pet from the Pound or something, otherwise you are essentially trading items for pets, and that is not allowed. Noog
Just do a custom on YOUR pet. If the pet that is going to receive a custom starts out and ends at the same person, who isn't you, I'm pretty sure it's not allowed. Note that I say pretty sure. Someone who spends a lot of time on the pound boards may know more. If you can't get a definitive answer here you could ask TNT. :P

snowbunny
I can't do a custom on my pets because her pet names are real words and mine arent. But we decided to use her friend's pets which are really amazing names too. That way we stay on the safe side. thanks for the advice! Here is a new update: Thanks for your reply! We actually agreed on using a friend's pet but, now she is saying that she adopted out her pet that she originally wanted to use to her friend. she then told me I can ask her friend if I can adopt and then do the custom that way because she is no longer the owner. She knows I am trying to get verification if this way would be allowed since she is no longer the owner. I actually wrote tnt a ticket and asked them how it would work because she is no longer the owner but I haven't gotten a reply back, the person I was going to trade with also knows I sent a ticket in. Does it say anywhere in the editorial how it works if she no longer the owner of the pet, I adopt the pet from her friend and do it that way?
