loveconservative Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Starman - David Bowie. Well, I'm listening to the whole album, but that song in particular is on right now! Quote
Yuika Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Parachute - Ingrid Michaelson. I heard the Cheryl Cole version first, but I like this "original" much better. Quote

Russ Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Battle - Colbie Caillat This will always be one of my favorites of her's. Just listened to that, it is a pretty pretty song and I'm going to download it :] Currently listening to Don't Download This Song by Weird Al. One of his few legitimately hilarious songs, and sounds really good too. Quote
Noog Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Not a big fan of weird Al. He was funnier when I was younger. That Girl - All Time Low Quote
Sweetdang Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 ALL TIME LOW! :D All time low by the wanted. :P Quote
snowwhite Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I'm on shuffle...now playing Lemon Parade by Tonic. Forgot how much I loved this song! :D Quote
Russ Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Not a big fan of weird Al. He was funnier when I was younger. Lol agreed in about 99% of all cases, but Don't Download This Song is actually political and sarcastic so I find it pretty amusing. Certainly more so than the umpteenth parody song about junk food, at any rate. I'm currently listening to music from The Sims because my sister is playing it about five feet away from me, which unfortunately prohibits me from listening to the above song as I generally like to do in this thread :[ Quote
The Meepit Commando Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Love You Like A Love Song by Selena Gomez, my sis is singing it, can't stand it <_< Quote

I like the general sound of the band itself and the singer's voice and just their overall sound, but that song in particular is a bit.. overwhelming I guess is the right word? Not sure how to put it. Currently listening to whatever comes up on shuffle, presently "Into The Ocean" by Blue October. Pretty catchy song, one of the first ones I got into by them although not their best. Quote

I'm now listening to Come In Closer by the same band. Not usually big on Fleetwood Mac but that song is definitely a really catchy one haha Quote
Sweetdang Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Last Friday night.... just because. It has an amusing video, but what is it telling us? Quote
Russ Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Not even gonna attempt to listen to that song lol. I've heard it and I enjoy it ironically because it's god-awful but nothing else. I'm not exactly a Katy Perry fan. Listening to Straight To Video by Mindless Self Indulgence right now. Quote
Welcome Back Apathy Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 THIS is what I'm listening to. Even if you're not a fan of parodies, you have to appreciate how well-done this is. Quote
