d.Lia Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Just two questions: 1. Anyone else have the problem of the Fire Yooyu auto-firing? 2. Does the opposing team become faster the more goals we score? Might just be my hallucinations, but is (1) happening to anyone else, and anyone feel the same way about (2)? :O
Neo_Girl Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 1. Well, I've read that since the Fire Yooyu is 'hot', if a player hold on to it a little too long they will let go of it because it will 'burn' them - which in my case, doesn't make sense because my team are made out of Magma and I -think- some are Relic. =P 2. In my experience, after 50 wins on the same day, the opponent team somehow became better. The first few goals are still quite easy, but after 7 goals for me, it's almost impossible to get an 8th. I don't know why, but I can no longer get the minimum 10 goals in one game like I used to on the first day. :( So to answer your questions: Yes, I've the same experience as you for both cases. I don't know if the game gets harder the more goals we score, or the more wins. TNT is random like that.
khaos Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 yes, that first thing does happen to me a lot. but my team was faster the more goals..
Emily Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I noticed it autofiring, but it also seemed to fire faster. Or maybe I just lost my mind after playing 50 games of YYB in one day : /
Wembly Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 The auto fireing is super annoying. But what I really now hate is the fact that the Darigan ball shoots in the weirdest directions. When I get it, it usually takes about 1/3 of the time to get in to go in the goal :sad02: I seem to remember is being much easier last year.
Emily Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I think last year it only curved right or left, so if you were close enough to the net, it would alleviate the curve, or you could at least have some idea of where it would go. Now it fires behind you, to the side of you, and almost any other direction. I usually let the other team take it and half the time, they end up scoring on their own goal

I had the personal experience on it. They move like the speed- powerup!
Airotia Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Yeah, my Fire YYB auto-fires, but I think it's supposed to. As for (2), maybe that's the AI kicking in...? I don't know, Neopets mentioned it once or twice that they were tweaking it. XP

Angeló Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 For me it happens after 4 or 5 goals .. the other team suddenly "wakes up" and starts stealing my ball and scoring from mid-field .. and since I have no control over Xana I can't stop it :@@@ it's so annoying .. the best score I managed yet was 8-1 and that's yesterday because the Kikos are so tiny ,.,,. I'm really angry :grrr:
hipy_chicky Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Yeah I noticed #2 yesterday after about 20 games. Or perhaps I was just losing it after playing so many rounds.
voteforpedro333 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Yeah, my Fire yooyu has shot off sometimes, but not too many times. Once it happened to shot in just the right direction for a goal so I didn't mind. As for the opposing side, mine usually start off pretty angry. It's been really hard for me to get past the first two and three starters (I haven't played any team with a 1-3 setup yet) without them rushing at me to steal the ball, which they can successfully do about a third of the time. Not fun.
Shiina Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 1. Yep, I lose it a lot :) 2. Nope.. I have 20 straight goals, and they don't get any harder to win. Although, I think more powerups appear :D Perhaps if you aren't quick to get them, the other team does and they become 'better'
Vocaloid Marshmallow Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 The instructions say that the fire yooyu is supposed to be passed around a lot and it likes it that way. So it auto-fires and it gets so much faster too. It also makes it much easier to get goal if you have the yooyu. I get a goal like every 5 seconds and after I reach my 4th or 5th goal the opponent team understands how I get goals and they take the ball away from me. It just becomes a bit harder. The Darigan and Mutant yooyus are kinda nice. Some one from the opponent team scored a goal twice for me with the Darigan and Mutant yooyus! But they do get annoying when you have try many times to get a goal.
Scarlet Fever Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I actually really like the auto-fire and using it to my advantage.
ice cream man Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 The fire yooyu is supposed to auto-fire because it is really hot so the players need to get rid of it; when it auto-fires it is like the power is full, so you can face the net from your half and then it will eventually shoot.
