livvy Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 The random contest challenge for this week is to draw your Neopet having fallen asleep in a strange place or at a strange time, and explain where/when/why they're asleep. So yesterday I made my first ever entry into this contest, as seen below. While the faeries were frozen and spells were being cast, book-loving Lili and her Mauket, Ameina, diligently hunted down and decoded spells in the Archives. Well, maybe she wasn't QUITE as diligent as she'd like you to believe. A little before 2 AM, I found her sleeping on her spellbook, and snapped this picture. (Don't tell her though. She'd never forgive me.) Her nap was ended only a little while later by a rather angry Yurble librarian. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it's good enough. :D Quote

Being a bookworm, I can totally relate to the feeling of waking up with a crick in one's neck and a book outline imprinted on one's face. I love the little question mark above the Mauket's head, all "What are you doing". Quote

Even with Lili asleep, she's hunting spells. *nodnod* I was actually originally going to have her pawing at Lili's antenna to wake her up, but then someone said she looked really studious, so I gave her a book. :P Quote

I realised a couple of minutes ago that it was due tomorrow and more or less decided that it wasn't worth it! I doubt I could get to a scanner before then and I definitely can't be bothered to try and muster up my non existant artistic skills by then! Quote
