Tank Girl Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I've been refreshing constantly absolutely no shop is restocking in Neopia. It worked a couple of times but that was over two hours ago and there's been nothing since! Is anyone else having the same issue? Quote
Spritzie Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Today is Half Price day, so items go extremely quickly. So maybe everything has been bought by the time your page loads. Quote
Tank Girl Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 If that's the case everyone must have stunning internet connections! Mine goes between 60-100mbs and I've been refreshing for two hours every few seconds. Maybe you're right. It must be neopian peak time or something :( My shop is empty and I need to fill it! Hope I can swindle a few items soon or it's going to be a very long night! Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Or maybe you got restocking-banned. Basically, you can't restock for a set period of time, because you were refreshing too much. I don't know a lot about that, but try going to the Tiki Tack Tombola store. If it's empty, you've likely been restocked banned. Quote
Tank Girl Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 I think that's what must've happened, the Tiki Tack Shop is empty. Gahh!! Thanks for your help :) Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 No problem. :) After all, what are friends for, besides lending you money that will never be repaid? Quote
Kuroida Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 It's peak time right now. People *coughmecough* are back from school and finished dinner and we've got nothing better to do :P So far I've gotten 10 items. Avoid the magic shop, the pharmacy, the stamp shop and the book shop. You'll need like insane RS'ing skills to be able to get anything there today..... If you collect cards the card shop seems to always be full though Quote
Emily Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 On half price days, I find it easier to restock in user shops. Because people are buying things cheaper, many items deflate a little because people can make the same profit selling for less. Especially newer players or people who don't check the SW. They'll sell for just slightly higher than they buy for. You can find some good deals, especially items from the food shop, which I find the easiest to steadily restock. Quote
