Shameless Guild Plug

I have been in dozens of guilds over the years, and I'm always searching for the right fit.

 

The ones I have joined have had the following wrong with them:

1. The people were too darned nice. No real conversation to participate in.

2. The people were too cranky and always fighting with each other until the guild imploded.

3. My last guild *ahem* did a member sweep and inadvertently threw me out. Though there were sincere apologies and I was reinvited, I was too heartbroken to return.

4. Second councils, council teams, member teams...asinine.

5. Too many members - the message boards would increase like 300 posts a day, and I'd forget to check every single minute of the day like they wanted me to, and then I'd be totally lost or having to slodge through 9 pages of stupid messages written in pink and bright blue fonts!

6. Expected too much from me - required me to create posts, donate nps, participate in activities, join groups, and all that pointless shizzle.

7. The other members were just too young. Not in age, I mean in maturity level.

8. Nobody lent me anything. *sniffles* lol

 

So with all of these things I hate about guilds, you would think I would just stay out of guilds, right? Nope. I am a hopeless guild romantic -- I have always held on to hope that the perfect guild was out there for me somewhere, I just had to find it. Plus, I get really lonely when I'm not in a guild.

 

Meanwhile, I'm tired of bouncing around from guild to guild. So, I've taken the leap and created my own.

 

We're just going to be mature people that help each other out and do fun stuff just for doing fun stuff. No message board postings required. It's a club, not a dictatorship. Everyone gets a say. And we'll be active, but not TOO active. Pink and bright blue fonts are ok, as long as they are spelling words correctly and they are grammatically correct. :)

 

So now I am here, telling you about it, so maybe if you were looking for a new guild too, we could all be happy at the new guild! If you're not interested, no worries - I'm not really desperate for members. You won't see me advertising the guild on the neoboards. haha I just wanted to tell you guys because I like yous.

Mine runs kinda with the same principles (not asking too much participation, having interesting conversation between people, and the most important is to be a PRIVATE place where everyone feel free to contribute and away from all the spammers and scammers!)

my own guild died recently as well and I'm a little heart broken because I've been in it for more than 5 years .. I'm not ready for another guild right now .. maybe in a while ..
