Battling help

I really want to get all the achievements. So far all I am missing is the one that I have to defeat all of the 9 guys. My pet isn't strong enough to beat Shadow Phantom Tormentor. Is anyone willing to lend me their battle pet so I can try to beat him. It would be awesome if it was strong enough to cap it. I know they have one they lend here but I bet it is already out or being used by someone at the moment. Thanks.

3 Water icons fully blocked by Haunted Shield, make it a 4 icons weapons when Tormentor uses it

3 Light icons for defense is useless, he's not dealing with Light icons (has a 75% reflector for that type of icons)

 

Honey Potion:

10 Earth icons will go through the Haunted Shield, 3 Earth icons and the Physical ones (1-3) blocked when Tormentor uses it

 

Ylanas Blaster:

5 Fire icons and 2 Air icons go through the Haunted Shield, 3 Earth and Physical icons blocked when Tormentor uses it

 

Golden Compass:

75% of the 3 Light icons reflected by the Combo Battle Mirror so use it together with Patched Magic Hat to block them

 

Great Healing Scroll, Downsize!, Patched Magic Hat and Purple Sticky Hand: Good to have against Tormentor ;)

 

Ok, so remove the amulet, honey potion and ylanas blaster and replace both items with 3 Shooting Star Muffin (5 Fire, 5 Air and 5 Dark icons, 15 icons that cannot be blocked or reflected by Tormentors)

 

Each turn you should use your Patched Magic Hat (can block up to 10 icons against Regulation Meridell Crossbow or one-use Rotten Jack-O-Lantern Bomb) but

won't do anything against Pocket Cooking Pot (5 Fire and 5 Water icons)

 

Do you have sink, burrow and restore/regeneration ?

He only has sink, burrow and Drain Life at the moment.

Drain Life will take 11% of Tormentor's health points, i.e. 27.5 Health Points at max

 

Okay.

 

First turn:

Purple Sticky Hand + Patched Magic Hat + Drain Life.

If you can't steal his Thyoras Tear, withdraw and restart (at full health, so heal if needed)

Hope he use his healer. Can receive 45 damages with Pocket Cooking Pot or less

 

Second turn:

Shooting Star Muffin + Thyoras Tear + Berserk.

You can do 84 damages at max. No damages received.

 

Third turn (or when you think he'll use strong weapons):

Shooting Star Muffin + Patched Magic Hat + Sink.

You can do 56 damages at max. No damages received. Sink fully blocks Dark, Water and Fire icons (very useful against Pocket Cooking Pot)

 

Fourth turn:

Shooting Star Muffin + Patched Magic Hat + Berserk.

You can do 84 damages at max. Can receive 68 damages with Pocket Cooking Pot or less

 

Healing turn:

Great Healing Scroll + Downsize! + Defend.

You do 0 damages. Can receive 108 damages (if 20 icons from Regulation Meridell Crossbow + 10 icons from Pocket Cooking Pot, but you are unlucky there...)

 

Following turns:

Golden Compass + Patched Magic Hat + Defend.

Hope you can defeat him before you're down. If you want to try a 4th Shooting Star Muffin instead of Golden Compass, but use it before you use all power (when you're at 0%, berserk and defend are like cautious). However, having 4 Shooting Star Muffins may be risky since they are one-use items and you won't have a weapon to do damages...

You should concentrate on training his level first (go to 50 to get Berserk) and his health points second (with level 50, you can go up to 150 Health Points)

Since your strength boost is near Tormentor's one, your set is good. I would prefer a Bow of Destiny over Ylanas Blaster since less icons are blocked by the Haunted Shield. And Shooting Star Muffins for you too. Much effective and much cheaper than a honey potion. And if you can find a Sophies Magic Hat (defense) that could help

You can do it at any time.

 

I collect Games Trophies, so NQII gold trophy was obviously a "have to get it" :D

 

Prize for Insane Mode:

- Staff Of Righteous Fury (7 Light icons and 0.5-5 Physical icons) is the weakest weapon

- Sword of Apocalypse (3 Fire, 5 Dark and 0.5-5 Physical icons) -- I forgot that sorry XD

- Bow of Destiny (5 Earth, 5 Air and 3 Fire icons)

- Wand of Reality (5 Light, 5 Air and 3 Physical icons)

 

 

Unlike Normal and Evil mode, you get only once the reward

I think you forgot the Sword of Apocalypse, and I mention after because there's no way I'm finishing my Evil run and starting/finishing an Insane run before the end of this week.
