I'm working on spells too. I didn't realize how fun it was. I'd only done one before, so I could get the achievement.

Me too. But I'll probably end up helping out with the Barrier stuff again later, once work has settled down a bit. Our barrier percentage has been slowing dropping since I signed on.

I've done way over 200 pages in the spell finding book. I'm pretty burned out from it. I still need to get guide position for the spell jobs though.

Why is the barrer percentage going down? Shouldn't it be going up, now that people "tecnichally" know better how to do the barrier part? (I know, they don't, but If I've been getting bether, I guess most of the people will)

I think it's probably due to the fact that most people have gotten the achievements already, so not as many people are continuing to do the barrier steps. With less people doing it, it's weakening.

So this is going to be such a big failure... I'm trying with the barrier, but it's really difficult to find competent people... What will happen if we fail?

It seems to be dropping really slowly. When I got into work 7 hours ago, it was 4% higher than it is now. So at that rate, even if it continues to go down, we should be fine.

can someone explain me why I can't find a single spell from the book?

I've done tons of them but all I get is: Xandra says, "You deciphered the spell! But... hmm... no, this isn't the one I need. Keep looking, though. We'll find it sooner or later!"

No idea, I just started today with the spells and haven't found one, always the same message...

 

Edit: This multitasking is driving me crazy! I'm battling, while containing and deciphering spells... One after the other :laughingsmiley:

I think there may only be one correct spell. And out of the thousands that have to be deciphered, the chance of getting the right one, probably aren't very good.

Not that I am much of a numbers person, but the chances of landing on the right PAGE with the correct spell seems to be 1/10,000. (100 spell links per page) The chances in finding the spell are more than 1/1,000,000 thankfully, due to process of elimination, but it's still unlikely to find. In fact, out of 200+ spells I've done, I've only gotten ONE message saying I eliminated more spells due to symbol/color whatever.
