((I just ran into you! *points* See in my post?))

((My mistake. I didn't see the post.))

CAV struggles to look up. Everything is a blur, but he can make out the shapes of wings. His first thought was an angel. He barely made out the words....

"A-a-a-are you my sa-savior?"

...Before he was rendered unconcious.

frank4t awoke, seconds, minutes, hours, days, he didn't know how long it was. But all he could see was the same dark figure. When the person (thing?) saw that frank4t had awoken, he knocked frank4t out. Again.

JB was almost ready to go back to the war. He was going to guard the hospital, guard the sick, from the droids. And, if he fell again, help was right beside him.

Seliphra sighed, "No, I'm not," She said, but the Hissi was out cold already. She gently picked him up as best she could and made for the medical tent where JB was. She managed the journey -somehow with out being shot- and nearly collapsed there. "Hey!" She called, trying to get JB's attention again, "I need some help over here, this guy's been hurt badly!"

JB heard Seliphra. However, he had bigger problems right than. Because half a dozen droids were attacking!

"Just bring him in! And Hurry!" JB cried to Seliphra, while trying to fight two droids, on his still-hurt leg.

She carried CAV over to a bed and grabbed her gun again, went down to one knee, aimed and began firing. She took two out with remarkable head shots and cursed loudly when a bullet hit one of her delicate wings, "THAT HURT!!" She growled, taking out the droid that shot her. Seliphra tended to get a bit violent when she was injured. Hitting her was a big mistake.

D woke with a start, groggy and disoriented. The droids that had busted through the door of the HAMS top-secret surveillance lab had injected her with... something... that had first immobilized her with paralysis and then knocked her out. She wondered why they hadn't killed her, or if they had meant to and flubbed it. Not that she was so important in the HAMS organization, she was mainly a glorified security guard for the room in which all HAMS surveillance tapes and equipment were kept. She was little more than a recruit with a penchant for explosives, but she had shown enough preliminary skill in training that they put her in this specialized station instead of assigning her to the core HAMS team, like most recruits. Some organization members didn't even know she or that bunker existed. It was not part of the main HAMS base, it was its own underground unit on the other side of the lake, where few humans or Neopets went. Dizzily, she wondered at what they had been after, busting in here like they did. Assessing the damage, D saw that the surveillance monitor screens were all either blank or broken, and the tape archives were disheveled but nothing seemed to be missing. This attack took HAMS off guard, D had barely gotten a call that there was an invasion when ten minutes later she found herself face-to-face with those creepy droids. Nothing in the recent surveillance tapes had indicated that something like this would happen, especially not of this magnitude. Contemplating the gravity of the situation, D started to panic and tried to call CAV for orders, but she could not get a connection on either the landline or her HAMS cellular device. Worried for the welfare of her teammates, she decided to give herself her own orders and head out to do her part in battle. Grabbing her ingredients of destruction (dynamite, napalm, etc.) she headed out to the small, nondescript boat that would take her across the water to HAMS City. The bulk of the fighting would be taking place there, and D planned on grabbing some crustaceans among other things to help her concoct a variety of helpful explosive devices on the boat ride in. Only about an hour or two had passed since she was first notified of the attacks and the droids had come in not 10 minutes after she'd gotten that news from headquarters. Still, she hoped she wasn't too late. But knowing the tenacity of her HAMS comrades, she had faith that those droids were getting more than they bargained for and were likely having their shiny tin butts shown to them by the most brave, skilled, and dedicated bunch of fighters she could thing of. Motivated by that thought, the uni kicked off of the shore, ready to blow some metal junk up! She may be cute and innocent looking, but she and those that knew her at HAMS knew how dangerous she could be, with or without her weapons of choice.

((sorry for the ultra-long segment, but i felt like i had to make up for lost time because its been a few days since i joined the RP, and plus i was feeling particularly inspired for some reason))

((Try to seperate that into paragraphs next time, ok?))

2 days pass, but war never ends.

CAV's sight began to return. The first thing he saw was a headlight above him. He painfully moved his head to the right, and saw the cost of war. Bloody corpses laid apon beds in which no signs of life appeared. The sight made CAV tear up. What have we become? he thought. The dimly lit room was also prone to diasease. At this point, he tried to lift his head to check his wounds, but to much pain. He barely lifted his head above his shoulders before the pain sent his head smashing back onto the pillow. He laid there, waiting.

Seliphra walked over, having reached an agreement with JB on her working. The droids pissed her off so she was willing to work for MUCG less than she usually did. She had seen CAV wake and decided to check on him. "Morning," She said. Her wing had a small patch of gauze on it where the bullet had gone through. "How are you feeling?"

So I hear you're looking for a supervillain?

Name of RPer: "AA"

Name of RPee: DOOM Agent UX1524 "Alex"

Good Guy or Bad Guy: While I suppose 'bad guy' might be the technically correct designation, DOOM Corp. does not concern itself with such fleeting distinctions. He does whatever it takes to complete his assignments.

Age: 8 years (was subjected to DOOM's speed-ageing system)

Species and color: Shadow Meepit (approximately a Meepit at least - DOOM's genetic modifications are varied and extremely complex)

Personality:

Like any DOOM agent who's survived basic training, Alex is cold, calculating, mission-focused, and highly intelligent. He has very little emotion, and regards all factors as potential fluctuating points - he never relies on anything as an absolute. A highly proficient tactician (and high-level strategist), he can quickly and accurately size up situations and establish a profile of their potential paths and outcomes, extrapolating possible plans and contingencies from there. He is not an undercover agent, and has only basic training in social interactions. Generally, he makes up for this simply by being incontrovertibly blunt and logical.

HAMS member or not (yourself): Nope.

HAMS member or not (the character): Negative.

Other:

Background

As far as DOOM Agents go, Alex was never anything particularly special. He started out as one of many thousand products of DOOM's Meepit production and enhancement program, and distinguished himself with high aptitude scores during basic training. He maintained these scores throughout the following eighteen training levels, and proved a capable agent immediately from the outset of his first assignment. Over the years he was promoted at a fairly average rate, and eventually assigned to supervise the decommissioning of a failed robotic weapons system.

Naturally, when the remnants of the aforementioned system disappeared a few years later, the Corporation was not very happy. Alex has not been promoted or assigned to a high-level project since.

Present

When the robotics system that had gone missing re-emerged and initiated a large scale attack on HAMS City, it was immediately decided that the situation was unacceptable. Not only was the continued operation of the system embarrassing, but for such an obsolete, ineffective, and generally sub-standard weapons system to be out in the public posed a serious threat to DOOM's reputation for quality. Agent Alex was assigned to locate and destroy the robot army's control nodes in order to shut it down permanently, then locate and eliminate the parties responsible for bringing it back online.

Naturally, any deviation from these mission parameters will result in his immediate execution.

(( Accepted, as long as you go by the name 'Alex' and not 'DOOM Agent UX1524 "Alex"'. ))

JB was guarding the hospital tent for the second day in a row, as he was taking shifts. He'd go out for 8 hours, then break for 16 hours while others went out. They were always close by, in case of emergency. JB, however, was upset at Seliphra, even though she had saved his life. She was asking for money to defend the innocent, the poor, and the unprotected, when nobody else did. However, now was not the time to argue; lives were far more important.

Seliphra honestly didn't get what the other were irritated about. For one, she was asking next to nothing, which was unusual for her. She was top notch, normally she charged an arm and a leg for her services. She was asking in the double digits for crying out loud! Though she knew if this war kept up she just might work for free for a bit. She shook her head, waiting for CAV to respond to her earlier questions.

D got to the other side of the lake and realized she had no idea how much time had passed since she left the surveillance lab. She did, however, manage to make quite a few small but powerful explosive devices. She didn't see anyone at the dock when she arrived, but could hear the fighting inland. She headed towards the fray, knowing that if a droid managed to hit her bag of explosives, she would be blown to oblivion along with whatever happened to be in the immediate vicinity.

Unless, of course, she got to them before they got to her....

Several kilometres above the carnage, a small silhouette streaked across the sky, cutting a path through underbelly of the deep, dark clouds rolling in from the horizon. Though it was travelling at easily three times the speed of sound, its meticulously engineered composite frame allowed almost no disruption of the surrounding air, reducing a potentially thunderous sonic boom to the barest hint of a whisper. Two invisible trails of cold jet exhaust waffled silently out behind it, dispersing rapidly and leaving no infra-red trace whatsoever. A matte black surface coating, moulding seamlessly over numerous slim triangular edges, completed the silhouette's sharp, smooth, and unquestionably deadly appearance.

From inside his standard Phi class DOOM Recon Armour, Alex activated his surveillance unit and surveyed the battleground below him. He allowed the sensor systems to feed back input directly to his flight pack's controls, making minor course adjustments to gauge a more complete picture of the situation. While his scanners busied themselves sweeping over the area, he toggled his optics to manual and zoomed in to get a visual feel for the conflict himself. What he saw did not give him a good feeling.

The data pouring in from his sensors confirmed his initial observations. Despite holding strong tactical positions, the rogue robots had been heavily engaged for well over forty-eight hours without making any significant progress towards gaining tactical control of the city. It was no wonder the system had been decommissioned. It was a disgrace. Why anyone would have wished to resurrect such a painfully defunct weapons system was beyond comprehension. But that was irrelevant for the moment - his priority was to shut the system down as soon as possible.

The information he was gathering on the HAMS soldiers defending the city gave him a very different vibe. Heavily outnumbered and outgunned, the defenders had nevertheless fought tenaciously to keep their hold on the city's key strategical positions. With a level of focused determination that was impressive even to a DOOM Agent, they had largely managed to achieve success in their efforts. In a different time and under different circumstances, they might have been solid allies, and perhaps even regular clients of the Corporation.

Whatever the case, the situation presented his optimal approach clearly. Alex needed to eliminate the robotic army, and so did the city's defenders. For now, both parties shared the same objective. Cooperation would be mutually beneficial.

The agent's sights zeroed in on a Faerie Uni that was crossing the lake in a small boat, heading from an abandoned surveillance lab towards the bulk of the fighting. The Uni arrived at the dock and swiftly disembarked, lugging a bag of high-yield explosives with her as she moved towards the nearest city entrance. But she wasn't alone. Before she had even made it onto solid ground, two robotic aqua-snipers emerged from the waters nearby. The crawled slowly, menacingly up the shore, taking up firing positions as soon as they were within acceptable cover. The Uni kept moving. Either she hadn't noticed them, or she was confident that she was fast enough to make it to a safe distance before they could get a clear shot.

I might as well make an entrance, Alex decided, angling downwards and going to full throttle. He lanced down towards the snipers, spreading his arms wide to catch the air around him. The sudden turbulence exploded into a violent sonic boom, echoing around him and towards the ground, even as the abrupt turn drastically reduced his airspeed. The two robots immediately looked up, searching for the source of the sound. At that exact moment, Alex rolled slightly to the left, allowing the sun to briefly glimmer off the DOOM Corporation logo emblazoned across his right shoulder.

The robots raised their guns, recognising him as the most immediate major threat.

Bad move, thought Alex, and cannoned into the first robot with the force of a small tsunami, crushing it instantly beneath him as he slammed through it into the rocks below. The pressure wave sent the remaining robot several metres into the air, tumbling end over end until it finally crashed into the ground. Alex's armour suit absorbed the impact effortlessly, and he was soon flipping nimbly back to his feet, just in time to see the surviving sniper crawling desperately back towards the water.

The agent didn't even bother to draw a weapon. Instead, he simply turned his back towards the robot, directing the full force of his twin-engine flight pack into its chassis. The robot went flying once more, this time plunging into the water and being ripped apart as it was dragged across the surface.

There was a quiet whine as Alex powered down his flight pack and swept the shoreline for any further hostiles. Once he was satisfied that there were none, he turned and headed towards the Uni, who had no doubt noticed his extremely noisy landing.

"Greetings."

((So D, do you mind taking me to join the rest of HAMS and form something of a temporary alliance?))

((To stay organized and such, it would be best that you do fill out the form, AA. But exactly what do you mean, joining HAMS? Or making an alliance between HAMS and DOOM? Glad to see you joined.))

CAV looked u6 to see a shadow above him. He heard questions, and he knew that was quite a while ago.

CAV: "Huh? Wha? How? Who? When?"

He was delusional.

((I was referring to an in-RP alliance between HAMS and agent Alex. Although of course, an official alliance between DOOM Corp. and HAMS is still an open possibility.))

((The combat division is dormant for now, since the acting lead agent is a little *cough*lazy*cough* laid back. I'm the head of the undercover division. ;) ))

Vickels awoke, dazed, staring at the hospital ceilig. To him, the gunfire, screaming, and loud sound of clashing metal sounded distant when reall it was only a few feet away. He looked around and realized in the hospital wing. There was overturned bed next to him and papers were scatted across the floor. A loud explosion shocked him out of his dazed state and he reaized a battle was raging just outside the door. Two Neopets limped in, each carrying a rifle and slumped on the floor. One was shot when he tried to peek out the door frame. Vickels slowly got up and limped over, grabbing the gun he silently crouhed with the other Neopet and waited for their turn, which judging by the sound of metal getting closer, would be soon.

(Battle for the hospital, anyone?)
