Question about shockwave games

For games like Hannah and the pirate caves, when I try to play using firefox, all I get is a beigeish blank screen. Same for gourmet club bowls.

 

I have shockwave installed. What's wrong exactly?

I have the same problem. It seems that newer versions of Shockwave and browsers are different enough from when these games were programmed that they just don't work anymore. TNT knows about this issue, but it is unknown when and if it will be resolved.

 

Some people have been able to play these games using IE. It still doesn't work for me, but you can give it a try, and maybe it will work for you. Some refreshing/reloading may be necessary.

Try downloading a different browser, Google Chrome???

I have no idea (i'm on a mac).

 

Perhaps you could send through a ticket, or try looking for the newest version of Shockwave.

I have chrome and I haven't noticed any problem while playing the shockwave games.

This has been an issue for a while now. This problem mostly occurs in Firefox.

I use Chrome and it works fine. I also just tested it using IE and it worked.

 

I don't use Firefox anymore (though it is amazing) so I can only help you with this: Do you have the newest version of Shockwave installed? Try downloading it here

 

As for other browsers apart from IE or Chrome, sorry, I've got no others now.

The weird thing is, with IE, Attack of the slorgs works, but Hannah and the Pirate Caves still doesn't. That game must really hate me. :(

 

Anyhow, I am pretty much gonna give up on those shockwave games. Maybe one day TNT can fix these games so they aren't unplayable pieces of garbage :S

So I assume you don't have the gourmet club nor the Hannah avatar?

 

That's really unfortunate, especially considering you have so many avatars already. To only be missing like 20 or 30 avatars of which 2 are unattainable due to a technicality :( :(

I am using Chrome and I can access Hannah and the Pirate caves and also other games EXCEPT Gourmet club bowls!

It shows like this:

"This Shockwave movie has errors that has caused playback problems.

Shockwave is unable to continue."

 

But it is not showing for other flash games! I want that avatar!

I do not have those avatars, unfortunately. I'm not sure if I ever will be able to get them now. It's really quite frustrating. :sad01_anim:

 

I really hope that all of the Hannah games get remade in Flash, now that they made Hannah and the Kreludor Caves. At least I'd be able to get that avatar if they remade HatPC. That still wouldn't help with Gourmet Club Bowls, though.

I have the same problem. Everything works in one browser or another except for Club Bowls. I can get Dice Escape on IE and Hannah on FF, but Club Bowls won't work on any.
